Thank you so much for everything, it was perfect. Authentic food, amazing service, friendly staff. They set up a table for 7 people outside, we were allowed to bring our dog. We felt so welcome. Will be coming here more often. Best Vietnamese food in Brisbane :)

Great food (esp. ban xeo, dancing beef, pho, caramel chicken wings, chicken salad), good drinks list (good rose, Blue Moon beer, great cocktails), lovely dessert (sticky pudding, cheesecake), and friendly and efficient service. What more could you want?
Owner always very friendly and accommodating, food is great, we’ve eaten here a half dozen times and never had a bad experience! Nice ambience and prices are pretty reasonable.

The best place in Brisbane, my partner (a Chef) and I have been dining here for over 2 years now and we have tried most of the Vietnamese restaurants in West End and Fortitude Valley but Viet Lotus is truly the best! The atmosphere is peaceful and the host/owner Peter is a great guy, he’s very knowledgeable about the cuisine and the culture. He once gave us a fish sauce bottle he sells for free purely because he wanted my partner to use it in his cooking and see how good it was, it wasn’t about the money for him it was about sharing something with someone else who has a passion for good food and that’s a sign of a great person aswell as a great owner of a restaurant. The chicken pho is my favourite but my partners is the Beef, I always get the wontons and sometimes I’ll get the mixed basket because I love the lemongrass pork skewers. I’m sitting in Rome right now, surrounded by beautiful restaurants that are often booked out but I would much rather have Viet Lotus! I miss eating here, and I honestly think eating pho here has helped my immune system because if I’m feeling a cold coming on - I get here as soon as I can and eat a big bowl of Pho and the next day I’m fine, or if I’m sick I get it delivered because I know it will help me - every time I eat this when I’m sick my roommate will even notice I look better the next morning and my partner. Thanks Peter and the team at Viet Lotus, this will be my first meal when I return to Australia in April 2018.
Visited Viet Lotus for lunch today and the food was tasty. Great flavours, portion sizes and lots of gluten free options 😊 The gluten free spring rolls were Devine 😊

Anyway dont order vietnamese coffee for takeaway, because it tastes so much different with the coffee for dine in.
Went on a Friday night and the service was really prompt and friendly. Food was delicious and extremely generous portions. We couldn't finish it all. Price was pretty good - I have seen cheaper but these were definitely the largest portions I've received. I would definitely go back!

Lovely dining experience. The vege pho was very tasty and hot! Tucked away in Grange just around the corner from our house. I highly recommend Viet Lotus for an authentic Vietnamese experience
Great food with good value. The broth was great! Coffee had too much ice however.
Perfect family restaurant. We were seated in a fairly separate room so that we didn't have to worry too much of our kids were loud. The service from Harriet and James was amazing, so friendly and prompt and they managed to settle our toddler when he was about to lose it. My food and wonderful experience all round.
This place is tucked away a bit but well worth the visit. Very friendly staff and food was very well presented and tasty.
Definitely will be back to try more off the menu!
From the food to the service, Viet Lotus has never let me down. Prices are affordable and the food portions are very well balanced. I loved their employees and how the environment is very traditionally and cozy:) 100% recommend 😋
Authentic Vietnamese food. The best Vietnamese in Surfers and Gold Coast. Amazing customer service. Highly recommend. We definitely will come back!
