It's a good place to visit with friends, or even alone to spend some time with yourself with a cup of coffee. I tried their mocha, and a cake along with it. The coffee was a bit too bitter for my liking, and I felt like I could almost taste the grounds. Hence giving it a 4 stars. Maybe it was just that day. Other days might be better.
Awesome place for breakfast and very friendly staff and not rigid in the menu, healthy choices, I tied scrambled eggs with Kale two days straight, it’s delicious.
The roasted beetroot and feta salad was seasoned well, the feta made it nice and cheesy and the beetroot chips and walnuts were a nice crunch but there was nothing memorable about this salad. Perhaps a bit more pumpkin would have been nice and made it more worth the price.
Nice location in Waterloo, we headed there for breakfast after dropping visitors off at the airport as it was the only cafe opened before 7am on the street. I had the potato rosti with smoked salmon, spinach and hollandaise sauce. Not bad. I like the open air feeling of the cafe, great to lounge about sipping your coffee on the balcony area
My family and I go here every other Sunday or so and have been pleasantly surprised.
The food has been delicious every time, current faves are the corn fritters, full breakfast and their lemon hot cakes are the BEST hot cakes o have eaten in a very, very long time.
Coffee is it really not to our liking but, you win some you lose some.
Definitely recommend giving them a try.
Petit Gateaux were nice. Unfortunately the competition in the area means it was under duress of direct competition. Flavours were nice. Price point was good.
Off the busy botany road in the heart of Waterloo is this little cafe. Its rustic decor is catchy and the hospitality charming. I had the Eggs Benedict on Turkish Bread with Salmon ($17) and Large Soy Latte ($5). Both were well made and delicious.
Breakfast here is average but the service and the chai lattes are phenomenal 😍 we ordered one Corn Fritter to share and they were kindly enough to split it on to two seperate plates prior to bringing it out! How thoughtful 😊 Fiona Tjahjono Sydneyeats_by_two
Great to see businesses doing well when they expand to multiple outlets and for good reason, great place for a good breakfast and coffee to compliment, great friendly service and a delicious assortment of cakes and pastries
After a long day of shopping at the factory outlets in 43 degree heat, we needed a nice lunch, so we headed to The Sweet Spot in Waterloo! Both of us had beef burgers, and it was probably one of the best burgers we’ve had! The beef burger had onion, tomato, cheese, beetroot, onion jam, tomato relish and mixed lettuce, and was fresh and flavoursome, and great for a hot day.
Loved this place! The staff is very polite and helpful. The food we ordered came out steaming hot. Fresh juice was delicious. I ordered a breakfast wrap which was really tasty. This place also has outdoor seating in a balcony like area which is a great ambiance for breakfast/brunch. They have a variety of all day breakfast options which look super interesting. We’ll be visiting again ☺️
Edit: visited again, ordered Spanish baked eggs with feta - so piping hot and delicious! Loved it! Super recommended!
They are located on the main road at the corner of the building. Very easy to miss. Parking can be difficult as there aren't many spots around the area. Seating available inside and outside for 40+ people.
Service is fast and the staff are very friendly. Coffee is really good and they have separate cups for iced coffee.
The food and coffee here is amazing! 5 star quality food in a comfortable, relaxed setting. The team are friendly and very accommodating. Well worth a visit for breakfast & lunch!
This was our regular when we lived in the area. Dropped by the other day after moving away 18 months ago. Same great service and great coffee. Highly recommend the new soft-shelled crab hollandaise.
Absolutely delicious dishes, each one I felt made with care. We had their popular baked eggs and one of their specials - soft shell crab scrambled eggs in a croissant. Will come back again as a regular.

with wide range of breakfast and lunch
Their home made quiche is most tasty and full filling that I ever have.
The house makes Benedict sauce with house makes potato rosti on the Rosti De Florentine dish just still classic with bit modern twist u won’t find elsewhere.

Always the best place to go for breakfast! I've been going to this place for quite some time now, they have always welcomed us with warmth and generosity!
The food is second to none, the BEST! Affordable, clean, great customer service & the atmosphere is fantastic 👌🏾. Couldn't sum up a negative sentence if I tried.
