We were invited along to Jezebelle in Guildford to try out their menu which while still in the tapas style has a number of new or changed dishes on the list. It is right in the heart of the James Street strip in an old restored building just across the road from hamburger joint, Alfred’s Kitchen.
Loved the dishes and coffee. Stopped by on the way to swan valley wineries, the Spanish influence certainly shone through with the corn fritters. Fritters were gf, guacamole was slurpalicious, salsa the right amount of tangy and tart- highly recommend. french toast wasn't too shabby as well. They do dimmi redemption at brekky too.
Spanish high tea on a coupon.
It was. Delicious.
The churros and caramel sauce for the win... plus the truffle donuts mmmmmmm... and the creme caramel ....drooooool.
Scones were a bit too dense but still quite nice.
Staff and atmosphere was so lovely.... defs going back for tapas!
We love Jezebelle and happily recommend this restaurant, but when it comes to special occasions (Valentines, Mother’s & Father’s Day) the standard we set, drops a notch. Is it due to the busyness on these days? Not sure?
have only been here for high tea, but given we’ve been 3 times now, that must mean it’s pretty good! love that they include 2 of their signature hot tapas items, the truffled mushroom donut and the prawn and chorizo paella balls, and that it includes a glass of champagne and you can also order a barista coffee if you don’t want tea!
service has always been really lovely and helpful.
now i always keep an eye out for groupons for this!
We were slightly sceptical about how dinner would go, as the food came out before our drinks did. Luckily, once we got into the food all was forgiven! We ordered the paella balls, calameres, pork belly and a warm salad. The portions were more than generous, and everything was tasty and well balanced (which is hard to find in Perth!). The only minor negative was that we found the jug of sangria to be a little overpriced for the quantity, although it was delicious.
Definitely some interesting food at this restaurant.
Highly recommend the Jezebelle Platter - it has a very nice mix of Tapas.
We loved the Patatas Bravas - great portion. But both the Tostadas w Zucchini & Lemon Fetta and the Calamares had odd flavours that we weren't a fan off. But having said that, there's definitely nothing "standard" about the food here.
It's a nice and quiet venue with mood lighting perfect for a romantic dinner.
Came here for dinner with a Groupon voucher, which was great value. The ambience and decor was nice and inviting. Service was professional and efficient.
All the tapas we tried was really tasty. I'm not a huge fan of pork belly but I really enjoyed it, great flavour.
The house shiraz offered with the Groupon was really nice. We ordered the potato bravas as an extra and they weren't great more like wedges with dipping sauces.
But overall a really nice dinner. They also do $10 cocktails on a wed/thurs so that's a bonus.
Had Sunday morning breakfast here in group of six. The food was very good although portions could have been larger.
All-round we had a very good experience and the service was good. 🙂
We don't come to the area that often so we decided to give it a go. The place is quite cosy and intimate so this is a good place for you to hang out with a few friends, share a few drinks and tapas food. The drinks are reasonably priced and good. We tried a few dishes like the chicken which we think it's quite nice and refreshing. The garlic prawn has quite a good flavour to it and we can taste that the prawns are fresh. The pork belly as well as the beef cheek was cooked perfectly hence why the meat were soft and tender. The good ambience and the food really brings the life to this place and even though it is quite a tucked away restaurant, they are quite unique in a way. So if you are in the area, you should definitely give Jezebelle a try!
Such a cute cafe! Currently doing contact free ordering and paying which made everything super easy and simple for us! Lovely alfresco area to eat and enjoy the weather. The service was quick and friendly and the food and coffee was faultless!
Booked in for breakfast and this place was busy so really glad we booked. We often have breakfast out while on holiday. This is by far the tastiest cooked breakfast we have eaten out. Topped off with great coffee and excellent customer service. It was worth the wait for our food.
The outside verge eatery is so pretty - wooden furniture, blossom trees and flowers in hanging pots... The resident Alsatian quietly roaming table to table - greeting guests, accepting pats and visiting the staff at their prospective posts. Good coffee, delicious breakfast - one delightfully friendly Barista and one pouty, post-pubescent adolescent possibly needing more of her own caffeinated beverages to brighten her attitude and widen her smile. More pricey than some other local establishments, but a genuinely enjoyable experience for an impromptu, rather freezing, midweek winter breakfast with hubby!
