Best pub in the Canberra with plenty of parking, food and beer 10/10, nicest looking english pub should be heritage listed in my opinion, if you haven’t been here your missing out.

Had Beef Vindaloo and it came out cold and just looked and tasted like Irish stew. Just get normal pub food as they don't know what Indian food is. They do good fish and chips etc.

English pub, pub food, good beer with an atmosphere to match. I feel The George is a bit of an institution. Great building with enough areas to suit what your after and the occasional band. Always a good place to go on quiet weekends. Lots of outdoor space and heaters so it works for families or large groups. Perfect during those warmer summer months, plenty of shade and usually there's some type of live music
