Today we visited feast for lunch ordering take away including cakes for afternoon tea.
I had a turkey baguette and my Grandmother had the pork. Our baguettes were delicious, mine had a generous quantity of sliced turkey and fresh salad, I would order this again in a heartbeat.
Our coffees were rich and creamy (mine strong) as I had ordered.
We took a couple of cakes with us to eat later in the day and I was really happy with my flourless orange and my Grandmother loved her cheesecake.
Our visit to Feast was a lot better than our last visit so I have amended my rating up accordingly.
A huge thanks for shouting us brekkie on ANZAC Day! Your food, coffee and hospitality had been sensational on our short trip to Melbourne ⚓🚢🎖️ WO and LCDR Carriage 😀
I've never actually eaten in or bought any of the pastries, but I've been buying from the deli for many years and the meats, cheeses and marinated vegetables are great. The owner has always been friendly to us. Nice range of continental products on hand too. Thank God there's still small delis around because if my only choice was one of the big supermarkets, I'd give up cold meat forever, even something as simple as ham. It's important to keep places like this around or it's straight to the pre-sliced meats for us all.
