Grateful that during covid this cafe is open until 4. Pleased that bonsoy is used. The coffee is quite bitter but maybe that’s just me.
This is a great place to stop by for a quick bite or drink, on the way to the lovely Hampton beach. The ceiling to floor glass panes at the front of the shop ensures that every drop of refreshing sunlight makes it inside - no wonder it's called the Glasshouse.
We ordered iced mocha, iced chocolate and iced latte (it was a hot day!). All the drinks were made with care and we had absolutely zero complaints.
The muffins were very fresh. They were not too sweet and the textures felt beautiful in our mouths. Hats off to the savoury muffin though - while it didn't look instagramable, it tasted fantastic. The various bits in the body of the muffin were savoury and oh-so-good.
So if you want fresh cafe food in a bright cheery surrounding, the Glasshouse is the place to visit.
This is the sort of place that makes you love the Bayside area. The coffee is incredible, the food is delicious and the staff are lovely. It’s very close to the beach so it’s the perfect spot to go for lunch before a walk or a swim. Plus, they make the best muffins/treats and have water outside for doggies! Looking forward to my next visit.
Glasshouse is hands down my go-to, favourite hot chocolate spot! 🎉☕️👍🏻 I always tend to order the Italian style hot chocolate! The best way that I can describe their hot chocolates is as though they’ve literally taken a good quality block of chocolate, melted it perfectly and served it up! So decadent but amazing and always something I crave when I’m in need of some comfort food! 😍 Their food is also fantastic, I love their toasties, always full to the brim and full of fresh ingredients!
Great place for coffee with a wide selection of Beveridge's for the whole family as well as nice and kind staff. Definitely one of Hampton's gem's.
The best and most consistent coffee I have had in Bayside for many years. The staff are always friendly and the service is great. I always look forward to going to Glasshouse after training at the beach or escaping work for a quick break. Hugh Robson
These guys are still producing the most consistently good coffee in Hampton. I've never been disappointed in anything from here, and was really pleased with a cold brew iced latte that I had on the weekend that seems to be a new addition to their offering. I'll be back again
Great coffee shop that only does coffees and pastries. Nice ambience and huge delicious muffins!! Must try next time you need a warm stop on a cold lazy day.
Spent 3 weeks in Hampton and went to the Glasshouse everyday for our daily coffee fix, we thought it was by far the best coffee in Hampton, muffins are superb too! Highly recommended.
Their hot chocolate is my all time favourite, it's so rich that like drinking chocolate sauce. Just outside of the Hampton station, open early close late very convenient!

One of the best cafe I encounter in Hampton!The interior is airy and full with sunlight. Had a pleasant and friendly chat with the staff which recommends me their specialty coffee blend that they roast.
The coffee is nice and smooth, but the muffin is the bomb! We have a chance as well to try their brunch menu as well which is the avocado bagels and prosciutto poppers.
Love the bagels, it was perfectly toasted, the fried egg oozed through but the romesco sauce is the one to die for! The prosciutto poppers comes with a lot - (A LOT) of surprise. The prosciutto bacon is super crispy but when you bit it through there are a soft cheese and suddenly the texture changing. It’s a dish that is full with texture and flavours.
All in all really happy with the visit here and definitely will be back again for those popper and the muffins.
The little gem of Hampton Street. We have had the pleasure of enjoying their hospitality for several years. They were amazing through Covid giving support and providing a welcoming meeting place for the community. Watching the business grow and the approach to staff values over Covid was commendable too. It really has the recipe right; great coffee or chai, amazing muffins and most importantly beautiful staff. Thank for making us so welcome 🙏
A very cozy cafe with friendly staff. I ordered the recommended raspberry muffin, it tasted awesome, I even ordered an extra one to take away. My partner tried the sunny side up bagel, he enjoyed the romesco sauce, highly recommend. We will definitely be back soon.
Great lunch spot- new menu has some really interesting options to try out including smoked salmon bagels and delicious toasties. I enjoyed the bright and friendly atmosphere of the cafe while I had my meal, but you could easily take something on the go, being right next to Hampton station. The freshly baked muffins are also to die for!!
