We love this place! We have been here a few times for breakfast & have always enjoyed ourselves. The food is delicious & the staff are amazing, they are attentive & friendly & make the extra effort to make sure that you are comfortable & have everything you need. When we went we sat outside & there's plenty of room for the pram & even enough room for the puppies to sit with us. I highly recommend the Pelikan Sociètè to anyone looking for a great place to eat & drink!
This is our Local Spot where we eat, drink and have fun. Owners and Staff is what makes this place with the added bonus of the delicious food making this place the only option when on this side of the Peninsula, its a must.

Cafe with a beautiful view of the yachts and ocean. Lovely friendly service and great for a relaxing meal. The fish and chips was delicious and came in a huge portion. The Cuban sandwich with pork belly and bacon was rich and tasty. The buttermilk fried chicken was delicious as was the shakshouka baked eggs. The only downside was the price of the meals were slightly higher than average but overall it was worth it.
What a great way to spend an afternoon, great views of the bay and great food, done well and with care.
Good menu options and GF available, good coffee and great service, well worth a visit.
Very impressive. Nice cafe with a pleasant bay outlook. The food was bordering on outstanding. My charcuterie board was absolutely faultless. A perfect size with a lovely range of bread, meats, cheese and greenery. The Turkish eggs were also very good. The coffee to finish was excellent too. Service was utterly charming too. Highly recommended.
Our first visit to this cafe. We only went for coffee and we loved it. The atmosphere, the view of Westernport Bay and the service made it even better. And the children’s play area behind the building was great for our granddaughter.
Located by the sea and next to the recreation centre this place had fast and efficient and very friendly service!! I had the beef cheeks and my partner had the buttermilk fried chicken, both we excellent!
Staff had a warm smile and we felt very welcomed.
Dog friendly as well for a bonus!
With a nice view of Westernport bay, it's a nice brunch spot. The ricotta pancakes and the shakshuka were excellent. Flavorful and well presented!

This place is the REAL DEAL! 😍😎 would never have found this absolute hidden gem of a café on my own! 😁 amazing quality menu and staff with a fantastic view of the hastings pier and waterfront! 🌊 great indoor eating and outdoor lounging area with ample natural light from a smartly designed glass walls 👓

☑ 9/10 for this Cuban that packs a damn flavour punch and a half AND was brought out in a Cuban Cigar Box! 😎👊🏽 i cant go on without outlining how GOOD the SLAW actually is 😲 probably the tastiest slaw dressings ive ever had because of its Thai twist! 🔥 this slaw is a MUST! which brings me to my Cuban 😏 tender pieces of slow roasted pork complimented with the sweetness of the pickles 🥒 distinct smokey flavour from the ham with a punchy earthy chipotle spice all brought together with a smooth comté cheese! BRILLIANT TASTE! 😍 Just a tad on the pricey side for a sandwich at $19.5 to be honest 💰 definitely a must try though! 🤗

Smart cafe right on the water & dog friendly. Coffee was smooth but only luke warm & the green tea was good. I had pancakes (which are big) with lemon curd & crumble - very tasty. My friend had the baked eggs which was a good size and delicious. Sevice was friendly. Would recommend if in Hastings.
Quick afternoon snack with family on the weekend. We had arancini balls, a couple of serves of fries with aioli plus some locally brewed beer.
The location is lovely with a nice view of Westernport bay in a sheltered outdoor seating area. The service was friendly and attentive and the food good - though our sample was limited. The arancini balls were particularly delicious, chips well cooked and a generous portion, but the aioli had a strange and slightly unpleasant seasoning.
All in all I recommend a visit, but more for the ambiance than the food!

I’ve been here for both breakfast and lunch and can not fault it. It achieves the rare combination of fabulous food, particularly the folded eggs, and great coffee. The service is friendly and helpful (but can be a little stretched as this is a very busy place). Worth the trip to Hastings!
