Dropped in for a quick breakfast with the wife as we wanted to give the new place a try and I must say it was worth it! I had the Pats Breakfast minus mushroom, with a cheese kransky and poached eggs. The eggs were spot on and the bacon was perfect. My wife had the Pancakes with passionfruit ice cream and berry compote. The only pancakes I have ever tasted to rival these were my own and that is saying something as anyone who knows me knows I like pancakes and I try them everywhere. My wife says it was the best passionfruit ice cream she has ever had and she trained as a chef specialising in desert and patisserie.

My partner and I just spent our Valentine's Day dinner at PJ's, and we could not have been happier! The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting, plus the music was right up my alley, my compliments to whoever picked out the selection. We decided to indulge to a range of entrees to try a variety from the menu, each bit of food we had was amazing, my only critic would be to add a bit of spice to the calamari, otherwise we loved every bite! Lastly, the desserts that we had were absolutely divine, Sticky Date Pudding with caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream and cinnamon, the menu didn't lead me astray: "best pudding ever"! We'll be back and recommending PJ's to our friends! =)

We enjoyed our time there. Very good service and good space. My son played the toys at the leather couch area with some other kids which made him very happy and gave me some peaceful time to enjoy my late lunch. I ordered the chilli muscles which was delicious. Will come back if we visit Hasting.

Great coffe (hard to get a nice almond milk flat white!) nice breakfast and lovely wait staff. Also free wifi which is fantastic for me! They have all milks gluten free options and so can cater for a variety of people. Great spot on the esplanade and they have live music on Friday nights which would be great on a summers night or even winter as they have a fire and plenty of room inside!

This place is awesome. We had the short rib and the fideos which were both delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, the music was funky and the view is great. It's nice to get some tasty food for a decent price.

Unique little place tucked between buildings opposite the foreshore.. Things I liked: - Meals were huge and full of flavour, we made the mistake of having a garlic bread to start (there was only the 2 of us) and we couldn't finish our meals. Food style is similar to a pub, lots of family favourites. - Friendly staff who were smiling and happy to help you with anything. - Heaps of parking!!! - Although we sat inside, the outside area looked beautiful and would be amazing on warm days. - It would be perfect to have functions and events here. Unsure if they offer that but it's ideal in size, location and layout even for a small wedding reception cocktail style. Things I didn't like: - There was an awful smell as we entered and sat down. Hoping it was coming from the small children near us. - the chef aggressively dinging the bell multiple times. Whilst I know it's to indicate food is ready it sure kills the mood of diners. - dessert menu?? I never saw one. Would be a great addition if you don't have one. - ice-cream... they weren't all labeled so I had no idea what I was looking at. - Decor is a strange mish-mash of figurines and beach, as if it doesn't have it's own identity yet. Personally more of that seaside lifestyle feel would do wonders for this venue! - Please add some more local wines to your wine list. Foxeys and quealy are right at your fingertips to name a few.. Also cocktails a mojito on your deck in summer yes please! All in all I would 100% return to this place and I have recommended it to others! There is so much potential for an amazing must visit restaurant in PJs! Hope it grows into something amazing.

Unfortunately we had to wait 3 hours for our meals. We were a table of 20 so understandable that it would take some time but in my opinion that is way too long. The food was great and the service absolutely amazing! That saved me from rating lower.
