Bit of a mixed bag today, calamari and squid were top notch. Fish and chips a little less so.
Family certainly enjoyed the food, so not a negative. We spent about $80 across four adults and two children and no one went hungry!!!
We also attempted to stop in yesterday but a customer out the front said he had been waiting 40 minutes. Perhaps try and be flexible for this one…

Absolutely recommend having a serve of fish and chips here. Decent serve and lovely. Not over cooked at all was perfect. Staff are great too. Sit outside at their tables or walk across the road and eat by the river.

Ordered the fish and chips. Generous portion size. Fish was very good. Chips were average. Lots of condiments, but missing sauce cups. Enjoyable meal.

Had to stop in to hawk's nest to pick up a laptop stopped in to get some lunch it was absolutely delicious also great service this was straight across the road aswell nice little spot

Some of the best fish and chips I've had in Sydney, much better than Bub's across the river. Can get it takeaway and sit at one the picnic tables by the water.

We were in the Tea Gardens at the beginning of the Easter break & had the best fish & chips here.
We had ordered their cocktail plus chips meal which is essentially 6 fish cutlets battered & deep fried along with chips. Just 1 meal between the two of us was more than enough as we aren't big eaters.
Their prawn cutlets were a bit of a disappointment though. But all in all this is a great place for a meal if you're visiting.

Really yummy local fish and chips. I had the whiting on a recommendation and was not dissapointed, my wifes grilled Barra was also well cooked. The location is great and if you are in the area I would highly recommend.
