The best burgers I have had in a very long time - Kona and Jay are the burger wizards of all Melbourne ruling of the land with their good vibes and even better burgs, more often than not a monster burger can make you feel like a monster has entered your tummy however I have seen people tackle even their biggest burgs and not feel like absolute crap afterwards, cannot recommend more and if I could rate higher than 5 I would.
Every time I come here staff are super friendly and accommodating just tonight I came down just as they were closing up. The staff were more than happy to stay open while having a chat! Super chilled place recommend to anyone! Burgers are also on point and under $15
One of the best burger joints in Melbourne, with excellent fries with the burgers as well. Jay (owner) is always friendly and nice to have a chat with. Their milkshakes are great too, you will never be let down eating here! Great atmosphere to bring friends along to. The only thing to note is make sure you aren't in too much of a rush for food since they are on the slow side, but it is worth every minute of the wait.

I ordered the burger with the lot , cheesy loaded bacon fries and wanted the curry burger they thought they were out of stock and I offered to buy something else but even though they knew they had a sale they went to the effort to do my curry burger under busy Saturday conditions
That is good service and it reflects and is an indicator of a good culture in a business
The fries were the best I have had and too many burger laces let themselves down on fries
If fries are bad
Then the burgers are also but these were excellent and the burger with the lot plus pineapple and egg and bacon was sweet juicy big filling tasty and savoury

Got to this place for a limited burger of theirs called "curry AF". A very cozy burger and shisha lounge in the walkway towards the Glenferrie station.
A veey nice ambience and a place you can chill out with your friends for hours,but i wasn't there for that.... This curry AF burger was one of the best I've tried, period.
A nice brioche bun with a curry powder dominant spice rubbed chicken slapped with mango chutney and cheese sauce. Inspite of all this, they didn't forget to leave the chicken juicy.
What an awesome experience, will definetely be back for some of their burgers again!

I had the burger with the jalepeno and sauce because I thought I'd go for something properly South American.Β It was properly orgasmic. My eyes rolled with the pleasure of every last bite, though I was supposed to be eating only half of that burger. The so-called small serving of beer battered chips went a long way between me and my dining mate. But the unexpected cherry on top of the entire meal was the peanut butter milkshake. It was a beautifully balanced long and lovely shot of sweet and savoury, well worth every single calorie. This place is divinely dangerous if you're trying to watch your weight. Love the grungy lounge we ate in though it was tough rolling out of if after a meal that left me glassy-eyed from too much of a good thing. Coming back for sure! Long live the resistance.
Such a cool little burger joint in the heart of Hawthorn. You wouldnβt even realise that itβs there - but definitely worth the stop for some delicious burgers! Such a great price for a decent feed, good options and quick service! πππ
The food here was simply awesome! The vibe had a real down to earth cool feel about it and the food matched it. Staff where lovely. Very keen to go back and try more of their menu.
Came here on a Friday night having no idea what to expect! The place was welcoming, cosy and quiet.
We loved that instead of traditional tables it was coffee tables with either beanbags or milk crates as chairs.

Letβs just say you wouldnβt expect to walk in there being blown away by burgers and fries, yet we were! The entrees were beaming with flavour & we basically couldβve gone another serve of the chicken bites. The burgers were delivered with soft bread which made it more manageable to eat with the delicious fillings!
The only downfall was the wait for the food as it did take longer than usual.

Attempting and succeeding with a Curry flavoured burger was going to be a difficult task at best! π€ mainly due to the fact that you would be tempted to put so many flavours in there that you risk throwing tastebuds everywhere! BALANCE of flavour! ππ½ everything in the burger has a part to play to create a taste party in every bite! ππ½ They ALL work together and compliment eachother! π especially the ingredient that i thought bought it ALL together β The Mango Chutney.. ππ a sweet viscous chutney with a hint of spice and tang.. this was genius! π§ a chutney that all the flavours could compliment for one DAMN GOOD BURGER! π€€ the best thing is that the heat isnt an overpowering heat that counteracts the flavours of the other ingredients but compliments them all! Thats what real SPICE is about! π

So far, I've tried the Chilli Cheese beef burger and the beer battered fries, and I have am yet to be disappointed by the food. The beef patty was juicy, and the burger itself was just very good overall, and the beer battered fries were some of the best fries I'd had.
In addition to good food, the staff are also very friendly, leading to a good overall experience.
