Noah and his beautiful family make me feel very welcome every time I go there. Food is delicious with reasonable prices. I strongly recommend this place.
Excellent pizza !. The salmon pizza in particular is highly recommended but the various others we have tried have also been delicious. Quality ingredients used. Well priced and great value and perfect place for a casual night out. Lovely staff and service - no trying to upsell in an attempt to get you to over order. Relaxed and casual vibe. BYO is an added bonus.
Love the food here, always delicious and large portions. I am actually confused to some reviews on here which are scoring the place low as the food is amazing. Never lets me down, i've been coming here for a while now and staff are always lovely and greet me every time i walk in. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for quality Italian food at a reasonable price, with lovely service!

As my week of strenuous work came to a conclusion, the overwhelming hunger for some Italian cuisine consumed our party. After a quick root about for a suitable dine-in venue, we settled on the homey, warm, local restaurant known to all those in the area as Zia's. Upon entering the self professed 'cafe' we were greeted by outgoingly hospitable staff. They made for a very easy going and laid back evening. As we were to be attending a concert later that very evening, we bypassed entrés and dived into mains. My pizza was exquisite and filling indeed for my stomach. For those cœliacs out there, my partner who is one herself stated that it was one of her favourite gluten free bases, if not a tad small. She still longs for the day a restaurant offers several sizes of gluten free pizzas on their menu but nether the less was very pleased with her meal. While the food was like being back in mothers kitchen and the staff were amusing and pleasant, the one let down was the environment. A large door in the corner of Glenferrie Rd and Riversdale would be very cleverly used by most businesses and it's still leaves me confused as to why it is not by this one. Inside the interior is a little dated and could do with a fresh lick of paint. Overall my dining experience was thoroughly enjoyed by all those in our group but while the food was fun like the staff, I remind the owners that an omelette cannot be made without cracking some eggs.

Finally visited one week night after driving past for years. The service is very friendly and accommodating and I was impressed that the waiter didn't push us to order more when we were being tight arses. our pizza was good, although lacked a bit of zing and great wine was exactly right on a peaceful week night. Clearly lots of regulars here and I can see why, they make you feel at home.

The menu looked like a crappy takeaway on Zomato and maybe that was my assumption because the prices were low but upon walking in there was the delicious waft of pizza and I spied a beautiful ceiling rose, some stained glass windows and classical prints of Italian framed art. Then we were handed the actual menu (that Zomato menu IS a takeaway menu) which was beautifully presented by our lovely waiter who couldn't do enough for us. Some parts of the place are a little rundown (ie the bathrooms) bur the found was excellent. The 8 of us shared three entrees; bruschetta, bread and hummus dip (kind of random for an Italian place but okay) and a garlic cheese Focaccia. Everything was lovely. The focaccia was a little on the small side but the dough was very fluffy. Couldn't decide what pizza I wanted to order so I made my partner get BBQ chicken so I could have some of that and went for the gourmet calamari which had spinach, tomatoes and prawns. It felt really light and fresh and was delicious. Fairly well priced too
Beautiful location, In the corner of gelnferrie st and riversdale rd junction. Friendly staff, delicious foods, reasonable prices, calm and quite mostly during a week. sit have your wine with pasta and enjoy.
This place is amazing. I started my dinner with my meat lover pizza. Haven't got chance to take it's pic but this is my second dessert because i have finished my first one. Omg i can't move. So yumm!
In love with the Meat Lover Pizza. I haven't try any other food because I always want my meat lover here. Not too much meat which is the perfect amount of meat , not too heavy but too delicous. Just walking distance from my house so I can come anytime. Great service. Definetely recommended.
Excellent service. Good pizza and chips. I got the prima vera pizza with no cheese. Would have been perfect with a little garlic oil and more herbs or some kind of sauce on top or some vegan cheese. but it was still really good.
