Tried my very first vegan burger here and was pleasantly surprised. Juicy patty, fresh ingredients. Very delicious!!
My mate used to work at the Hawthorn Grill’d which meant enjoying all the chips!
I don’t know about you however I’m all about those herby, salty Grill’d Chips! You can’t go to grilled without ordering the chips! Am I right?
More like 4.5.
Grill'd isn't just your normal fast food restaurant. The food is just perfect and they have so many types of Burgers, but they also have small things like: they give you a bottle cap and you can vote for which charity you think they should donate to and it goes into a massive jar and the first jar to something like 5 full jars gets the donation. But more importantly, their food is very impressive.
The second grill’d I’ve been to! Definitely happy with the overall experience - awesome and polite service, helpful and attentive. The food was awesome too! Their zucchini chips are my favourite thing by far, absolutely incredible - both crunchy and soft. And the burger was awesome too! The reason it’s not a 5 is because they had run out of pickles and didn’t tell me until later, the the water hub I received was dirty with floaties in it :( I understand mistakes happen! So just small improvements that could have made my experience a 5, but overall I’m a happy customer and would definitely go back!
I've been here twice now. The first time I got the nourish and flourish with the low carb bun but didn't take a picture unfortunately. I remember it was quite tasty although a bit on the pricier side when you include the low carb bun.
Today I tried the hotbird chicken burger with the low carb bun - again a bit on the pricier side for what you get imo. The grilled chicken is obviously not as flavourful and juicy as the beef due to the fat difference of course. But for those more health conscious grilled chicken is pretty much always gonna be less calories than the beef.
In fact, grilld do have nutritional info on all their foods on their site which can help those more calorie conscious. Take note the low carb bun may be lower in overall carbs but the sugar content is pretty much unchanged from the regular bun. Beware some of the foods that you may think might be healthier/less calories are not. For eg I got the Moroccon lamb burger which was very nice for its total calories but that was at another grilld and will be in that review.
I mention these things because grilld do come from a relatively health and environmentally conscious angle with their food.
I should also mention the staff were friendly and the decor very welcoming and comfortable with plenty of space.
Dined here many times, love how the staff were always so welcome and attentive.
I usually go for the Simply Grill'd as it tastes so good. Can't fault as it is always consistent.
I was psyched to see another vegan burger on the menu so I tried it out - it reminded me of a typical cheeseburger back when I was 7 years old (became vego at 8). I’d have it again.
Always get down to use the washroom while doing UberEATS and have my fav burger!
The washroom is always so clean!
Great lively ambience and great burgers
Great service!
As we wandered down Glenferrie road with a meat eater and a vegan we were knocked back by a few places not being able to meet our needs. Grill'd surprised had everything we needed! We were both super pleased with our orders and satisfied afterwards. We shared their chips which were delicious! Great to know we can come again with different eating needs being met! Thanks Grill'd 👍🏻
Just been here this afternoon. The staffs were obviously friendly and helpful. I really love the idea of supporting the community through specific projects, very fun and interesting. Me and my friend ordered a Pork and Pine burger and was given a free burger by using a code, so we chose the Crispy bacon and cheese and ordered their Signature Chips with sweet chilly mayo. It didn't take us long for the food to come out. The burgers were super fresh and huge. Everything comes great together. Just wish the pork could be seasoned a bit more so the flavour could be stronger and bolder, but I think it was still one of the best burgers we've ever tried. The chips were crispy and yummy, yet the dip was quite bland and boring. All in all, we were super satisfied with the experience we had compared to the price we paid, only $22.4 for a Saturday lunch.
