A quick takeaway that ticked all the boxes. Well rolled so they didn’t fall apart easily and generous filling
Sushi hub offers a wide range of delicious and attractive looking sushi sets and platters, in addition to an array of salads. They are not the most delicate looking Japanese food but it's super convenient especially if you are on the go. Always fresh and tasty, the sushi and sashimi never fail to delight.
The only franchise sushi I would go to in Melbourne - it's so much fresher and better value. The Hawthorn shop is right next to the station so it's really convenient.
After some pretty disappointing lunch nearby, I just had to make a pit stop here to pacify my unhappy tummy. Service was not only friendly and efficient but also patient, as I took a while to make my selections.
Waiting in the car, my partner’s eyeballs nearly fell out of their sockets when he saw me returning with a bag of food from Sushi Hub! Yes I know it was straight after lunch, but honestly I didn’t get that much... I think.
On the drive home, I immediately tucked into my Fresh Salmon Sandwich. It was nice with the tobiko on the sides and drizzle of mayo on top, but there was just a little too much rice in this sandwich to balance out the thin slice of salmon and tamago egg.
Once back home, I had my Deluxe Sashimi and Abalone Salad. The abalone was good without being too chewy and the sashimi was fresh, making it a good end to what started as a woeful New Year’s afternoon.
I ordered 2 avocado sushi rolls. Both rolls were nice and thick with a good amount of filling- avocado and cucumber. Service was quick, prices on par.
This is a regular once a week after school place. Basic sushi types are done well, my son loves pork goyza. There is also a choice of "fancy" sushi's which look great.
Great to see a sushi train that isn’t in the city. Quality of food is pretty good. Although it is a tad small but haven’t said that we have never been turned away. Great value and service was good. There is a take away section at the front of the store.
Staff are friendly and welcoming. Pretty good offerings on the sushi train. I wish that a few more of the sushi hub outlets all over Melbourne also offered the sushi train!

Another sushi franchise, like sushi sushi the consistency is there this being the second
One I have tried now I can say that it is just as good as sushi sushi which I hold in high regard
This new Sushi Hub opened up in Hawthorn a few months ago. Unlike the city one this one does not have wine and is a small store. Tempura vegetables. Here there are many varieties on offer and you can even order main meals. I had the entertainment book voucher so I went with a friend. The bathrooms are small and are out the back.
Amazing flavours, great quality sushi, really liked the variety. The venue has an indoor mini sushi train if you're looking for something different or special. The salad was very fresh too and the sauce was to die for - definitely repeatable and curious to try the other flavours. Service was fast and friendly during lunch. Highly recommend if you're looking for a quick bite, midday munchy or healthy lunch alternative.
Great sushi, fresh and delicious. This Sushi Hub also has a small sushi train at the back. Although it is small, there is still a large variety. Just keep in mind that this is a more expensive alternative than regular sushi rolls, but still affordable. Also the service is great. Great place for a quick, healthy lunch.
Fast service. The staff made me two fresh veggo roles and served it nicely on a plate. Too bad I didn't get a pic until I'd half eaten it. Very yummy.
