For lunch or dinner. Their food is always fresh and chips with gravy so yummy!
And the gluten free introduction is fantastic for my mum too.

Highly recommend for a great value and fresh quality chicken shop! Had the chicken schnitzel burger from here which was so massive that I struggled to get my big mouth around it but was super fresh and delicious!! Chips were nice and tasty too cooked in fresh oil! Think this place is a little gem for a cheap eat!
if you haven't stopped here and had their fried chicken then you are seriously missing out! Awesome value for money, the 4 pieces of fried chicken with chips is an insanely generous serve and comfortably feeds 2-4 people for just $12 depending on how hungry you are. It's our go-to to stop at whenever we pass through.

Service 10, was very nice, was passed from father to son, he is super friendly and helpful, a happy side of a small town.
Taste 10, the fried chicken was very good, I would definitely return for this flavour.
Quality 8, good chips, chicken was very good, most likely free range, very good.
Serving size 10, lots of gravy and chips, very big pieces of chicken, well worth the $30 odd for so much food.

Great value for money, serving size is very generous. Chicken was a bit dry and lacking flavour. Chips were fresh and crispy. Salad was good and size was generous. Will be back to try the fried chicken.

After a good day out at Marysville, we stopped at Sammy's in Healesville on the way back to Melbourne for some dinner. What we were not expecting were ridiculously huge portion sizes, which left us with too much food.
I ordered Sammy's Burger with chips, drink and a salad.
The burger is probably one of the biggest I have seen: it's not a fancy burger, looking closer to what you might have had at your school tuckshop back in the day, only much, much bigger, and with fresh ingredients. There were two pieces of chicken, very crisp and fresh, and greasy enough so that it's not dry, but not too greasy to the point where you feel dirty (though, with a burger this big, it is definitely going to be your cheat day if you're on some kind of regime, even if your definition of "cheat day" is loose).
The chips were nothing special, though that didn't matter: after eating the burger, my drink and a salad - which was very difficult to pick, as Sammy's has more salads than my local Coles supermarket deli (it was very fresh too), the last thing I wanted was chips.
Overall, Sammy's will satisfy even the biggest appetites, at great value for money, and with great service. I'll definitely be back next time I'm driving through Healesville.

Often quite busy but food is fantastic. Chicken and chips with gravy is great and the salads are fresh. Quantity of food for price is really good.
Amazing crispy salty fried chicken. Chips are perfect and gravy delicious. Salads were ok but would definately recommend a fresh home made salad to freshen things up. Portion sizes are HUGE so go hungry (or order slightly less). We'll definately be back to Sammy's next time we're in town.

Roast and gravy chips were delicious. They even still taste good in the fridge overnight. Only takes cash though.
This was an accidental discovery for a souvlaki, and they did an excellent lamb souvlaki with lamb cooked over charcoal. The souvi combo is great value and chips are a huge serve and done well. Owner was super friendly. Recommend.
Highly recommend this place! Staff are lovely. The food is exceptional for what it is. The chips and gravy is the best! Sometimes there can be a wait due to the amount of people ordering but that just proves how good it is. Best charcoal chicken place I've been too.
Great Chicken rolls here, and a good variety of other meal variations. Plenty of parking behind Coles for vehicles with trailers put this business in a good location.

Amazing charcoal chicken !!! Love the small chicken and chips pack and the shredded chicken burger. And the owners are super friendly and poilet with amazing service.
