Probably the best Italian food in Melbourne! I was blown away by how good everything was, Puttanesca pizza, iceberg salad and prawn spaghetti- so good I wanted to weep! Best meal I’ve had in ages!
Their shrooms pizza and prawn pasta are unbeatable. The pasta is always al debate, and prawns are never over cooked. Sometimes it can take awhile but they are often busy so it is understandable. Staff have always been polite.
It's pretty cool that we can get such high quality pizzas in the 'burbs. Proof Pizzeria was a pleasant surprise. I ordered a couple of pizzas to take away. The service was quick and friendly.
The Napoletana pizza was topped with tomatoes, olives, herbs and anchovies. It looked simple but tasted amazing. Everything was fresh and delicious. It was also texturally interesting. The base was soft and chewy with the char bits adding flavour to the whole package.
The Capricciosa pizza had similar toppings but with added ham, mushrooms and mozzarella. Ooo la la....this transported my taste buds to Italy.

Everything was good. Zomato online, didn't show any availability but over the phone they were really friendly, they booked us in & on arrival amazingly friendly. Foods were stunning with perfectly balanced taste. I can go back there every month with no hesitation.
Best Pizza in town, great service and ambiance, lovely and accommodating staff. Loved the mushroom and nutella pizza. Would definitely go back there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

It really is a blessing to live in the north east, with such a great range of choices. Proof Pizzeria is definitely one of those rare gems that I wouldn’t want to lose. Sure, their pieces are more than Dominos - no surprise! But their authentic Italian style wood fired pizzas are cooked perfectly (beautiful leopard spotting, minimal charcoal), and taste really great with excellent flavour combinations. The staff are all friendly and very attentive, and it is easy to tell they care, and have pride in their work. The restaurant itself is intimate and not too noisy, so it’s a great place for a peaceful date night out. For me, proof hits the spot - I even ate the crusts 😉 Hot tip: if your kids ask to get a Hawaiian, either persuade them to try something different or just buy them a dominos across the road... I love Hawaiian but I don’t think it is at its best with this kind of pizza... and there’s so many other amazing options to try!

i ordered Paco’s Pizza with the gluten free base, i knew my pizza wasn’t going to look like the normal ones, but i was a little disappointed with the crust on my pizza being burnt, unfortunately couldn’t eat my crust which was sad because its the best bit... however, the pizza itself was actually really delicious with all that prosciutto and rocket, i just wish the crust wasn’t so burnt
my friends seemed happy with their meals, it all looked amazing!!
My new favourite go to pizzeria. Pizzas are authentic and delicious, the service is always warm and friendly. Having been to many pizzerias across town can definitely place this in the top 3. Feels like home.
