If you decide to have an impromptu lunch date with friends at Henley Square, then this is the place for you! Alternatively, if you just want to eat at a tres chic place with a relaxed and friendly vibe, then Malobo is also the place for you.
My friends and I ordered from the breakfast and lunch menu. I had the mouthwatering beef burger, which had a perfect ratio of bun, patty and condiments. Look, I like my ratios, ok?
One of my friends ordered Smashed Avo on toast and said that she loved it. Let’s just say that her eggs’ were poached to perfection.
My friend offered me some of his Southern fried chicken and oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Do yourself a favour and order this side dish. I won’t spoil the amazing flavours. Just order it!
I decided to try the piña colada and it sure didn’t disappoint. I’ve tried a fair few of these bad boys in my time and this one was, dare I say, the best one I’ve had. The coconut shavings gave it a little extra glam.
The place is slightly pricey, but you definitely get your money’s worth. Also, the wait for the food was a tad too long considering that it wasn’t a busy period.
Will definitely be back for some Southern fried chicken! Do yourself a favour and check it out.
The staff was very friendly and attentive. The mushroom soup was AMAZING!!! Love love love. I had the turmeric latte - wasn’t the best here. But since the customer service was great, it’ll keep me coming back 😁
Incredible fast service, best coffee in the West. Close to the beach with a really good outdoor dining area that is very dog friendly. Always very busy

Been here a few times and each time the coffee (most important), the juices, the food have been on the mark. This particular time I got a plate of sides as I didn’t want bread (almost costs as much as a normal dish anyway) plus I got a side of granola (delish!) I’ve tried the gf bread another time, was great to eat but still left me feeling bit bloated. Apart from that it’s a smooth operating ship, busy, but it’s worth a visit.
My oh my this place is delicious! I ordered the Tuna Poke Bowl which came with a beautiful lime marinated tuna and my boyfriend got the Beef Burger which was out of this world yummy. It also came with super crispy fries. We sat outside overlooking Henley Square - although, when the wind picked up our food was almost blowing away so be mindful of that.
Malobo gets super busy, as my Mum and I discovered on a Friday afternoon when we arrived for lunch. I don't mind a wait, however it isn't ideal when one person's main is served well before the other. My haloumi burger was the pick of our dishes. The sides were nice, yet nothing stood out. I like that breakfast is available until 2pm.
Had lunch with a group of friends here . Everyone enjoyed their food including myself . Would say the food was alright but not amazing , tad overpriced for the portion size too . Probably only go back for its location
Amazing coffee and food, staff can be a little bit better but the location and quality of the coffee is perfect! Here at least three times a week
Malobo is a great joint for lunch in the heart of Henley strip! This is my second time here, and I’m highly impressed with the quality and price of the food. Both sets of chips (potato and sweet potato) we got were crunchy, well seasoned and matched the aioli sauce, our sandwiches were crunchy, warm and flavoursome. The fried chicken in mine used a great quality chicken and batter, and my friend’s Reuben had a tasty sauerkraut and balanced interior. Highly recommend coming here for a relaxed lunched on the sun with a couple of beers and mates.

Food = 3/5 Ordered the Beef Burger with Chips. The beef patty was nice and juicy, but the burger itself slightly lacked flavour.
Overall, great place to eat with a view of Henley Beach.
Coffee was pleasing. Smashed avocado was well presented, and good taste, with some interesting flavors. For me adding a side is a must, the spicy chorizo looked good. They seem to have changed the chips recently, fatter. looks better than most of the pictures here.
Henley Square's brilliant location to enjoy Adelaide summers. Malobo cafe great place to enjoy lunch. There is some protection from wind and sun. My Laksa was very enjoyable, spicy but not overpowering.
Eateries by the beach have my heart and this place is one of them…

Friendly staff, very aesthetically pleasing restaurant. Super busy on a hot day, the fresh juices are incredible. A bit of a wait even on simple juice, and a bit pricey too. Overall a good beach experience.

Had a good breakfast at the place. It was weekday so it wasn't that busy. Food and delish and I love my hot Dutch chocolate drink. Really good location as well.
