My friends & I had a few vinos in the sun on a lovely winter afternoon. The gentleman with the beard who works there has a lovely soothing voice which helps to dissolve the guilt of day drinking. Highly recommend the coriole fiano.
Wow , what a refreshing change , a chef that comes out and meets the clients , great food , more than just a sandwich hahahahah and take the Jalapeno poppers with Habanero sauce challenge , I love it , you might cry hahahahahah
Absolutely delicious fish tacos! Several other great sounding options like the Southern Fried Chicken will see me return in the not too distant future. Quick and polite service.
Always come here for the fried chicken Cuban sandwich and the fries. Absolutely smashes it every single time with the crispy chicken, melted cheese and pickles.
Gem of a place located on a bustling street in a small corner, taking 25 mins to whip up your food or probably longer! But those Cubanos are worth the wait! The Fish Tacos..are succulent, flavorful and fresh! Must visit if at Henley!
I love the thin cut chips served here the lime is something else. All the times I’ve been here workers have been very friendly and kind and the food has been killer! I love this place it’s fantastic! Good prices and quality food and location is prime as you can eat dinner on the grass overlooking Henley beach
Great place for a made to order hot pressed sandwich on Seaview Road. It’s a smallish shop you eat in, takeaway or dine in the sister cafe of Malobo as it’s the same owners. Service is quick and as it wasn’t too busy they were very quick in the preparation of it.
I had the Cubano Sandwich and it was pretty much the traditional ingredients of pork, ham, swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles. The sandwich is served nice and toasted with a generous along of filling. Usually don’t like pickles but it cuts through the richness of the meat and the mustard and aioli adds different flavours to it. Definitely a must try if you’re in the area.
I've been wanting to try Hermanos Cubanos for some time now and the ANZAC day holiday presented an opportunity. We ordered the Hermano and the Cubano sandwich plus two jalapeno poppers. The poppers were $3.50 each but they were large and they were delicious. Both sandwiches were a good size with good bread and lots of fillings but the Cubano sandwich was definitely the pick of the two - pork, ham, pickles, cheese, mustard - delicious and great texture. The Hermano was disappointing - I couldn't taste the jerk spicing on the chicken and between the soft bread, chicken and avocado there wasn't a lot of texture in the sandwich. Interesting that Hermanos Cubanos was one of the few places at Henley Square charging a public holiday surcharge.
Ever since my trip to Wellington and a visit to Fidel’s I have been searching for a good Cuban sandwich in Adelaide. Mind you I found this some time ago and only just had the time to write about it now. Since then I also found a couple more awesome Cuban sandwich spots but I digress. Hermanos Cubanos my friend, is a place you must visit. A hole in the wall sandwich joint, blink and you might miss it but don’t let the size fool you. The food that comes out of this kitchen is AMAZING.
Nice little sandwich shop at Henley square. Had the Cubano toasted sandwich. Man it was delicious. Porky, mustardy, cheesy and pickley. My mouth is watering while thinking about it. I need to get back there to sample more of their menu. Pricing is a little high for serving size maybe.
When you watch the movie Chef http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2883512/ and realise that you just have to try one of the cubanos sandwiches that they make on the movie but you can't get to the States or Cuba, you can head down to Hermanos Cubanos (or Malobo) at Henley and get to try one of the tastiest toasted sandwiches going around. What a great taste and flavour combo, simple, but works so well together. Also tried the pulled pork burger, so good also. And when we were done had to get a second cubano! Great location, great tasty food, definitely heading back to give the rest of the menu a go.
Tasty treats on offer at this cute little spot on Henley square. We had the buttermilk chicken sandwich which was super tasty and delicious, filled with lots of chicken and it satisfied my hunger. The pork taco special was also a hit. A side of fries seasoned with salt and lime were crunchy and moorish. Would go back for sure.
