Bar staff and wait staff were great. Marcus went above and beyond to ensure I had a spot for my forum for my birthday. Nice place with original set up. Only down side would be the bands playing somber/ alternative music on a Friday night.
This place is really good. Exceptional fresh Italian ingredients, skillfully cooked and with lots of flavour. Staff are friendly and attentive.
The pizzas are simple yet pack a punch. I always sit in the camp of not too many toppings, just a focus on flavour and that’s what these ones do. Good stuff. And in a city where we have some pretty stellar pizza joints (I’m looking at you Monsterella and Rossonero), these hold their own (when on a normal base).
But it was the bread that stole the show for me. Puffed up, steaming hot, and just the right amount of salt added, it was incredible. We ordered stracchiatella with it, which was creamy and slightly oily and just plain yum. Do yourself a favour and get this.
The bread dough is incredibly tasty with a nice stretchy texture, good combo with the burrata and also as pizza dough.
The wood fired oven provided a slightly charred taste with crispy edges.
The charcoal grilled fish has the hint of sweetness from the roasted almond, the meat is delicate and soft.
Nice ambiance for a night out for a couple or a group of friends or with a big family. Wait staff were very prompt, efficient and friendly. Service was impeccable.
The food a little pricey but it's totally worth it if it's something you can't reproduce at home.
The kingfish crudo was light and fresh.
The croquettes were crispy, creamy and rich creating an oxymoron of tastes in the mouth. Two in a serve was a little cruel leaving us wanting for more.
The Parisian Gnocchi was a delightful surprise. Light, crispy little parcels packed with well balanced flavour.
The Pomodoro pizza... ooh. The cherry tomatoes were slightly caramelised which accented the taste of its freshness. The stracciatella cheese and the basil oil almost waltzed at the back of the palette vying for your attention with each mouth full.
Overall a very pleasant experience.
Fantastic table service. Staff keep checking on us to see if we need anything. Our table was never dirty nor empty with alcohol. It is a great place to catch up with your friends. I had to take 1 star off since the food was too oily to me. Street parking is available . Also if you go further there is a wilson parking.
The food is incredible - everything we tried tasted amazing. They also have a great cocktail menu and wine list. The service was amazing, it’s share style food and they paced it so well so our table wasn’t overcrowded and our food stayed fresh and warm. Can’t wait to come back!
Always visited this place for drinks, love the atmosphere and staff is ALWAYS so friendly even on busy nights. Tried their pizza, it’s actually very good! Need to have a full dining experience, never visited their restaurant section, always enjoyed drinks and some nibbles outside.
Group of 7. Did 5 different share plates and a couple of pizzas. All left satisfied.
For me, the standouts were mushroom croquette, the roast potatoes, and the eggplant pizza.
Service was good. Got a little loud when it filled up. An enjoyable night overall.
