Nepalese food was on the agenda this time and I hadn't been in Battery Point for a long time so going to Kathmandu Cuisine ticked both boxes. Finding parking around the area was a small challenge but that's the norm for the area. There's a very comfortable atmosphere within and the waitress was welcoming and possessed a very friendly service. For a small building it didn't feel cramped inside. I started off with vegetable Singada dish which was delicious and made me eager for the main. I went for the Dal Bhat Masu with chicken and loved the layout of the food and different flavours each portion gave me. I decided to compliment all of this with a drink of Sherpa beer. Although initially I thought that it may not be quite enough I found out that the meal was quite filling. It all cost around $45 which was very good value as the quality was very good. If you're in the mood for some Nepalese cuisine I would definitely recommend you try them.
We had a beautiful meal at this restaurant. The meal was well cooked. Presented well. Explanation on how to eat was given by the waitress. Good value for money . Will come back for more.
This was a cute and cosy spot to enjoy some warm and nourishing food on a very cold evening. We were made to feel welcomed and hospitality was excellent throughout our meal. We got a range of menu items and all were a delight.
