Went for a casual coffee and bite to eat. Super friendly staff and good relaxed atmosphere, awesome coffee and some of the yummiest chips and gozleme we have had. We'll be back!
Walked in because it looked so nice and appealing. Comfy seats, airy,... And licenced! Service was great, friendly and prompt. Burger i got was yummhodelish! Presentation to match and served in an appropriate timeframe. Very impressed with burger, probably best ever! This accolade was also helped by the fact it was not overly huge, just an appropriate burger size you can eat without too much of a mess, fresh bun, burger cooked to perfection....
The hangover burger and chicken burger were awesome. Very healthy size and the flavouring on the chips was delicious! They even made a toasted ham & cheese sandwich for my son that was perfect.
We were down from Melbourne for the day and grabbed a burger each and some chips. Loved it - very yummy!! The boys (owners) were great. Service was quick and very friendly.
We were looking for a well priced, quality cafe. We found it. Friendly staff, delicious burgers and great music. Our group wanted to come back and try everything on the menu.
We were walking Collins Street early on a Thursday morning, searching for breakfast before our conference. With very few options at this time, we were very excited when we found that Pop was not only open, but buzzing with energy and a breakfast menu to be excited about! I ordered poached eggs with a side of avocado on organic turkish bread and a large skinny flat white. The large coffee was indeed large and the perfect way to start a busy day. It was evident that the coffee was of good quality due to the amount of business and city workers coming in for their morning caffeine hit, not to mention the many high school students and companies holding their morning briefings at the indoor seating.

When my breakfast arrived, I was impressed with the presentation and quantity. The bread and eggs were cooked well and the avocado had been smashed with an assortment of herbs, which made it even more enjoyable. Our waiter was very friendly and provided great service and ensured we were happy with our meals before allowing us time to eat and relax before cleaning our table.
Although Pop Cafe is only a small venue, the meals are big and the service was fantastic. Whether you are on the run in the morning or have time to sit and relax in the city, I suggest you try Pop Cafe on Collins.
Fork And Foot (formerly Two Clowns Tripping)

No major criticisms with this burger, but at the end of the meal I asked myself, “If I had a choice, would I return to pOp, The Winston or The Standard?” The answer was pretty easy. It would be either The Standard or The Winston every time.
I found Pop Cafe on Google review as I was looking for a new cafe to try. It's located a bit away from all the action, not too far from one of the entrance for Centrepoint.
Pop Cafe has a pretty large shop front so it's hard to miss. There is only few tables outside but plenty inside. I came by quite late in the day around 3pm. I reckon you can get a seat even if in peak hour.
I ordered a flat white. The coffee was pretty good. I love the smooth taste of the coffee and it's got a good flavour to it. The coffee art is really distinctive with a dark backdrop and very clear art. The coffee art degradation test was pretty good, surviving beyond the halfway line. This means that I'm able to enjoy my coffee without the bitterness of the coffee that a lack of foam brings.
I'm happy to recommend the flat white if you're into less foam and more milk. It's pretty well made and probably in my top 5 for Hobart at this point.
Awesome little café!! We had a Portugese Chicken burger and the Dutch Dog (hotdog) and both were delicious. Highly recommended!!
I’m far from vego but this lentil soup was amazing. When I agreed to bread I was expecting a couple of slices of toast. Very foody - very Tasmanian.
Tried the vegetarian bean and beetroot burgers and falafel burger- both great, bean burger a stand out.
Very good coffee and muffins.
Super friendly staff, Great service!
Nice and open, plenty of room to park the stroller.
It's under new owners and called Elevenses now, it's great!!! Highly recommend it, for a snack, lunch coffee and I hear more coming in the next short while. I'm definitely going back!!
The best hot chips in Hobart's CBD! Says who? Everyone at my workplace and believe me we have tested a lot of the hot chips in town. Pop's are always well cooked; crispy and seasoned. They also do awesome kebabs. Try the mixed meat one, it's stellar. Good burgers too, especially the blue cheese one. Run by a super friendly family. Check it out!
Honestly one of the best burgers I have had! Top quality. Staff are absolutely lovely and the coffee was also 5/5..
You don't know what lovelier, friendly, humble and beautiful people are until you come to this restaurant.
I've been a regular for months and have never had such service, food and caring people in a restaurant that can also run a busy cafe and not show any form of stress whatsoever.
This is a hospitality provider I can get behind!
