Made my first visit to this great cafe on Saturday morning for breakfast. Everything about it was just wonderful! The space is great & cosy on a cold Hobart morning. The staff - really friendly & very efficient. The food - top quality with lots of choice & delicious! Coffee - again top quality & delicious! And if that isn't enough, I brought a friend who was visiting from overseas, she has Coeliac disease & was super impressed with how easy it was to find items on the menu that she could order to suit her need for gluten free food. The abundant free parking on weekends is a great bonus too! Love the philosophy of this cafe. Thank you, we will be back!
I had the pleasure of finally visiting Hamlet today and was not disappointed! The food was some of the best I've had in Hobart, affordable, well presented and most importantly, absolutely delicious! The staff were friendly and helpful and the space is gorgeous, will certainly be returning!
I love a good social enterprise. Staff are trying their best. I wouldn’t return for food I ordered but definitely for a drink.
Fabulous to see social enterprise taking off with Hamlet Cafe! Brownie was lovely, coffee was ok.
Expensive. Nice location and healthy food with a fireplace. Not excellent value for money, through does support handicapped people. Has infirm parking only. Parking very difficult for everyone else.
Always a phenomenal lunch experience. A great social enterprise. Lovely coffee and treats too. My weekly lunch spot
Hamlet catered for 2 days of work functions and meetings. The ordering process was straightforward with delivery on time. The catering was high quality with lots of options catering for dietary requirements. Will happily use Hamlet in the future.
Warm welcoming Cafe with a wood fireplace to keep things warm and toasty during the colder days. Coffee was offered upon initial sitting down which was great. Inclusive Cafe who focus on work experience which is another positive. Only downside is that after they took my coffee order there was no follow up to see if I wanted food for a good 20-30mins which I thought was bad considering people coming in after me were getting food served on their tables. I was almost about to pay for the coffee and grab food elsewhere when a waitress finally came up and asked if I wanted anything else. Hoping the ignorance of a customer was a once off.
