Beautiful food! Hard to find such authentic tasting Vietnamese food in Tasmania but this place nails it. A cosy little shop, but even when every table was packed full it never felt crowded. The food was full of flavor and the servings were generous, definitely worth the cost (which aren't all that expensive either!). They're worth the visit for sure!! We will be back :D
We go to Saigon Express at least twice a week. We lived in Marrickville (Sydney) before we moved to Hobart which is a huge Vietnamese area with over 30 Vietnamese restaurants - so we know our stuff. Brilliant food and service - cannot recommend highly enough!!
Called in to the new shop, absolutely fantastic food & service.
So impressed with the new range and quality chicken.
I recommend anyone to go here and try for themselves.

I was a bit worried when this place changed hands (and name). But the noodles are still as yummy and the Bahn mi are delicious 😋 The staff are super friendly to boot.
We went for lunch today and I absolutely loved it. Service was fast and friendly. The food was just as I was hoping for. Fresh delicious and authentic. Prices were great. Oh and the ice coffee sealed the meal. Re omend to all definitely return.

Found this place while exploring north hobart. Was totally delish. Tried the spicy beef pho and lemongrass basil chicken with a small BBQ pork for an entree. Service was great and the meals arrived quickly. Highly recommended.
So excited to finally have a good Vietnamese place in Tasmania!! Amazing food. Took us straight back to Hoi An. Lovely friendly staff. Will become a regular of ours.
Dined in at Saigon Express tonight with a group of around 16. Had the $25.90 (I think!) banquet. So much food! All fresh and delicious! This low banquet price included dishes made with seafood and duck. Service was awesome. Staff were extremely accommodating and friendly. Will be recommending this place to everyone. I will be back for sure. Thank you :)
Have been for dinner a while ago and it was wonderful. Very friendly service and fantastic fresh food. Had a $10 takeaway lunch special today. Beef & black bean and cashew chicken with steamed rice. So fresh and very tasty. Great value. Highly recommended.
Must order the seafood pancake! It is delicious and available for 2-3 person.

We ordered roasted duck, Pho, crepe and iced coffee everything are nice and huge!! Staffs are so friendly and polite. ... sorry no photo attach as we are so hungry lol why dont give them a try by yourself :)
Not sure what to have - googled Restaurants Claremont and found these guys! Great food, friendly. Amazing dinner.
What a wonderful discovery. Excellent flavours especially in the transparent spring rolls with Vietnamese mint. A very courteous and obliging host.A total surprise and our new 'must go to' Vietnamese restaurant in Hobart. Keep and eye out for their forthcoming cooking classes.

Food was good. I will give 8/10. Service was top class. It was second visit and food was same as last time. Good for eating non-veg. Vegetarian options are okay okay type.

Great place. Very good food. Always pleasant staff, very polite. The food is delicious and a good price. While waiting for my order the owner asked me to join their table of staff having lunch. He insisted I try some of their meal which was gluten free noodles or rice with venison cooked in a satay sauce, amazing. Where do you come across hospitality like that. Fantastic.
Food was amazing! Had great dinner with Vietnamese and Korean food. They do have great Laksa, Singaporean noodle and others too. Highly recommending and for sure I'm coming back there again soon
Just got a nasi Goreng and it was absolutely perfect. One of, if not the best, I have ever had. Excellent portion, delicious runny egg on top, garnished perfectly. Faultless. The service was excellent, super friendly and fast. 5 stars all day. If you haven't been here you absolutely should.
