Beautiful food! Hard to find such authentic tasting Vietnamese food in Tasmania but this place nails it. A cosy little shop, but even when every table was packed full it never felt crowded. The food was full of flavor and the servings were generous, definitely worth the cost (which aren't all that expensive either!). They're worth the visit for sure!! We will be back :D
We go to Saigon Express at least twice a week. We lived in Marrickville (Sydney) before we moved to Hobart which is a huge Vietnamese area with over 30 Vietnamese restaurants - so we know our stuff. Brilliant food and service - cannot recommend highly enough!!
Food was good. I will give 8/10. Service was top class. It was second visit and food was same as last time. Good for eating non-veg. Vegetarian options are okay okay type.

The garnish could have been fresher but the flavours were spot on.
Great place. Very good food. Always pleasant staff, very polite. The food is delicious and a good price. While waiting for my order the owner asked me to join their table of staff having lunch. He insisted I try some of their meal which was gluten free noodles or rice with venison cooked in a satay sauce, amazing. Where do you come across hospitality like that. Fantastic.
Food was amazing! Had great dinner with Vietnamese and Korean food. They do have great Laksa, Singaporean noodle and others too. Highly recommending and for sure I'm coming back there again soon
Just got a nasi Goreng and it was absolutely perfect. One of, if not the best, I have ever had. Excellent portion, delicious runny egg on top, garnished perfectly. Faultless. The service was excellent, super friendly and fast. 5 stars all day. If you haven't been here you absolutely should.
