I loved breakfast at Pollen, nothing complicated, but prepared with charm and quality ingredients. The site, although small, is lovely, very quiet and clean in a residential area of the city, away from the tourist street Salamanca. The waitresses and cook have always been watching customers and smiling. Good job!
After getting a bit lost walking battery point with my dog I was very happy to find this lovely dog friendly cafe to recharge at. Nice coffee, tasty eggs and sour dough, lovely back garden where my dog was allowed and friendly service.
I don't know if there was lactose-free milk or soy available? I was so frazzled after getting hot, bothered and lost I just wanted my coffee pronto!
Small tea room which also serves a very good coffee. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is quiet. Best spot to hide from the tourist crowds wandering around Battery Point. Breakfast and lunch options available. There is a little back garden for the warmer days. One of my go to places when in Hobart
