Ahhh, Pad Thai Prawns, how I’ve missed you!
We were so devo when the guys at Ivory Thai closed their doors a few months ago, to endeavour on a new project.
Thankfully we are STOKED to have attended their soft opening of Still Thai this evening, with Donna and the team cooking awesome new dishes as well as some old favourites, in their stunning new fit out!
Donna never fails to provide amazing food, service and sass! Highly recommend the spring rolls, duck red curry and of course the pad Thai prawns.
The only problem is that my children have inherited my love for prawns, and I’m not sure I love my children enough to share ;-)
Very happy with a group of dishes ordered, excellent balance of flavours, freshness and well presented. Delicious dumplings and some dishes not often seen in Thai tending fusion.
Service was super-fast (at near peak time). A real contender for go-to Thai in Hobart. I would be very happy to eat here/from Still Thai again and explore the menu.
We ordered takeaway delivered so cannot speak to the in-house experience.
It is real hard to find a place where all combines with such perfection. This cozy place has special attention to each detail to make a visit to remember, the decoration, the kindness of the personal, the suggestions to change the plate in case you would like prawn instead of chicken or how spicy you would prefer it, and when finally arrives it is so tasteful and well served. The only aware is the place is bit small so consider make before a reservation, otherwise come early and just wait to be fully satisfied with the food.
I came here with my husband. The food was so delicious and the atmosphere was nice and warm with excellent services. We tried the pad thai with prawn, satay chicken and tomyum soup. They all were perfect. High recommend to come here and try the Thai food!
I went there to see if in fact, they were only serving still thai food. The sign is amazingly accurate- the only food they are serving in there is actually still thai. Nothing else. I even tried to trick them and ask for Mexican food, but no. Still they insisted on making only thai food.
