Found this place by chance as I needed the cake shop next door and was looking for a nice coffee during my outing. And I so enjoyed the coffee that I came back a few days later to enjoy again even though I was no where near the place. The food is so good. Simple, homemade, delicious! Service is very friendly and homely as well and it has a lovely 'country' feel. The only reason it lost a star was there were no gluten free options. I'm not coeliac so I still had something, but trying to stick with a gluten-light diet and kind of blew it here.
But it's too good not to visit again.

I had a bad coffee the day before from another coffee shop, not tasty at all, weak, extremely hot…I said I had to have a good coffee today, and this one made an excellent work! It was hot enough not to get burnt, good flavour and foamy…I like it!
Arguably the best pie I have ever had.
Very different to anything you will get elsewhere
Real meat, real pastry, really big. This is one of those hidden gastro gems of Adelaide.
