A long LONG way from home, but it's all worth it for the incredible coffee, eats, and wonderful service. My favourite spot for a late night cuppa, and I'll continue to frequent it multiple times a week. 100% recommend!
Such good pizza together with perfect ambience and lights. Surely a good place to celebrate your wins. Service is so good, they dont keep you waiting for long. It had been a house to a locksmith before being converted to this beautiful restaurant, so natural positive vibes in the place makes you savour your food to the core.
Not bad for a first visit. Staff seemed polite and welcoming. The chips I had with my burger were tasty and delicious, the burger itself was not bad, however would have been better if there was perhaps less chutney. For me, there is nothing worse than eating a savoury meal that has a large amount of sweetness to it.
Great Service and food. Portion size was the right amount. Would come here again and try the pizza which is apparently good. Service was fast considering it was a busy night.
We came by to Urbano for a birthday lunch with some family. I was really pleased by the friendly staff and interiors. What I learnt about the restaurant is that it used to home to a locksmith and his store, before being converted into a pizza and pasta restaurant with a wood fired oven right inside.
Ambiance: 9/10
I really loved the exposed brick, exposed wooden pillars, and alfresco style painting throughout the restaurant. The splashes of green bring out the colors, making the overall seating warm and inviting. I liked the basic wooden tables, with metal chairs - it's nothing too fancy.
Service: 8/10
Service was friendly and helpful, though one staff member did forget the names of the plates arriving (she was absolutely lovely, but you have to know what you are serving!). Food came to us quickly, which I loved, and the staff really catered to our requirements.
Menu: 7/10
I liked the general menu, though I did find it frustrating that the 'daily specials' weren't actually for today. We learnt this when we asked for a particular item off that menu. The menu otherwise features plenty of options for various tastes and dietary requirements, and the staff are more than happy to cater for requirements too.
Value for Money: 8/10
Prices are really reasonable, in particular the serving sizes are great.
Food: 9/10
Food was really simple, but very enjoyable. I recommend the zucchini flowers, dipping platter, and the diavolo pastas.
Overall: 8/10
Definitely a great local find!
Had dinner here with the family, all staff are friendly and very attentive. The food came out fast and decent portions. Combination of Greek and Italian food, worth a try
Since new management took over four months ago, this cafe has had a complete refurbishment with the large woodfired oven being the last remaining artefact from the last business. From the Rochester street entrance to the cafe, you don’t realise how spacious it is inside, and it is a venue large enough to host functions and large gatherings.
The food offering is Mediterranean, as highlighted by a brunch of baked eggs with feta and Greek iced coffee. Coffee is house roasted onsite and it’s quite mesmerising watching the beans turn from a green brown hue to their more familiar dark roasted state.

New Owners = Better food + Better friendlier service.
This restaurant used to be owned by a different owner and it was Italian cuisine. Now under new management, it is more of Greek Cuisine.
I visited this establishment with colleagues for a Work Meeting lunch. Been here before but food was not good (old management). This time around the food was delicious.
The seafood as at all Greek restaurants, must be fresh and delicious and it definitely was that. We had a calamari and a prawn dish for entree. Both seafood types were delicious, fresh and not chewy. perfectly cooked. I would only suggest adding a bit more prawn in the prawns saganaki dish.
We had also Haloumi with figs. Never had this type of dish before so I was not sure what to expect. The dish was spot on. Full of flavour and worked well on the palette.
No complaints on the mains. The seafood risotto was cooked well, the souvlaki was soft and flavoursome and unlike the previous occasion, this time around the steak was cooked as requested.
Price was fair
Atmosphere great
Ambience terrific
Service was friendly. Our waiter knew the menu well and was able to recommend the favourites.
Overall a great experience. Looking forward to going for another visit however this time not business related dining.
One of my favourite local places to dine at for great food and coffee, and scrumptious desserts. The food is consistently delicious with good portions, and the staff are always welcoming and friendly. Definitely recommend.
Nice find for local Italian in Homebush. Quick service. Coffee were good, we preferred to have a bit more coco powder. We have ordered boscaiola pizza, the mushroom is perfect and sweet, personal preference only - more tomato paste/puree for the based and a bit more cheese. Overall a good experience.
Excellent strong and smooth coffee. Pastries were being freshly baked when I just got there after 7am on a Sunday and all looked amazing. I had a spinach triangle which was still warm and crunchy pastry with a delicious filling. Will be back to try more.
We came in around 5pm on a Saturday night without a booking. We were greeted and sat straight away and offered drinks while we read the menu. We ordered the gamberi pizza and we were really impressed with the speed & quality of the pizza, really great prawns! Love the vibe of the place, everyone was so warm & friendly. Can’t wait to go back!
Absolutely delicious food and coffee with generous portions, very friendly staff, a frequent customer and will of course visit again!
Great pizza, friendly staff, and quick service! Came in spontaneously right before peak (at 5:30) without a booking was still able to be seated, and our food came within 10minutes of ordering and cooked to perfection. Lychee lemonade was quite sweet but tasted fresh and not too syrupy.
