Food was tasty and in good enough quantity, each dish is sufficient for one person. The overall ambience of the restaurant is just like any average restaurant, nothing special or fancy. Cost for 2 people would be around $50 (including 1 starter, 2 individual main course and 2 drinks).
Visited the place on Christmas an off the track day for the Australians still found this place to be functional on a full swing, ordered for a quiet large number of Indian dishes and was served pipping hot and it seemed to be prepared after the order had been placed and it also had a wide range of alcohol servings available on order with a few imported beers on the menu, and their quantity and the way of their garnish was amazing making it quiet enough for a single person to fill their tummy.
Was an amazing place in terms of the quantity served and the value for money.
very good food, good atmosphere, friendly staff. went there for my birthday with my friends. we ordered from their vegetarian entree, they were so delicious
My son took me here for my birthday and had a great experience, the staff were friendly and were very accommodating considering we didn't have a reservation. 9.5/10 for the food as well

Would love to visit again.Best Indian food in Australia .
Good place to curb your Indian food desire. The place is well located, near to the station. The food was pretty decent. The ambience and service can be better. The thali was value for Money but the lamb was not upto the mark.
Service - 3/5
Food - 3.5/5
Ambience - 3/5
Value for Money - 3/5
This is about the Homebush branch as I have visited only that. The food is alright, service is decent. The staff seems friendly every time. I have been there 4-5 times and have had a take away 7-8 times. Every time they catered to what they wanted. The cultural difference might make the staff look a bit uninterested but if you know how most of the Indian restaurants work, you would not complain. It would have been great if they increase the portions for curries. Point for improvement for them would be hygiene. To access the restroom one crosses an alley which gives a sneak peak of the kitchen. I am not saying one should not be hygienic otherwise, but if customers are getting a glimpse inside, you might want to keep the kitchen more in order. Also the restrooms could be made more hygienic. It is a bad idea not to have a covered dustbin. Even if it just tissues, it is full of germs and is an eye sour. You would surely come back for food once you have eaten here.
For a nice family dinner, we decided to visit Taj Indian Masala, a restaurant in Homebush that serves both North and South Indian cuisine. We ordered four dishes – a paneer dosa, a paper dosa, a rawa dosa and an Indian thali. My pick was the paneer dosa, which was quite spicy and had paneer in the centre. It was really delicious, but difficult to finish, so may be a good dish to share. The rawa was also really good, as it was very crispy, and had the right balance of spices and vegetables. The paper dosa was the most impressive dish, as it came in a cone shape and was perfectly cooked and crispy. Finally, we also had a side of sizzling tandoori chicken, which was very mild but had a great accompanying mint sauce.
I would give 5 star for customer service and food was great as well. We had to wait quite awhile for our food but since the service was great, I didn't mind waiting. Definitely will visit this place again.
