Ordered the wonton soup and peanut sauce noodles. Both great. Soup had a light but flavourful broth, plenty of tightly wrapped bouncy wontons. Noodles where cooked well. Plenty of peanut sauce to coat the noodles and a caddy of condiments (soy, chilli oil, vinegars, pepper) to customise your dishes to your taste. Will definitely come back again and try something else! Price was very reasonable, prompt service also.
My favourite place to have lunch with my family. Not expensive and not as oily as most other Chinese restaurants, which is definitely a bonus. The peanut sauce noodles are my favourite, but I often get a deal with the soups too.
Was super satisfied with my meal that only came to $12-$13 with two dishes! The peanut noodles were amazing but the thick sauce does get a little salty and repetitive towards the end. Not going to complain though, as it is a bargain at only $6-$7! The steamed pork buns had a great ratio as there wasn’t too much bread and the sauce of the pork inside was bursting with flavour!
Ordered the dry noodles with peanut sauce, deep fried pork, old street noodles and the pan fried bun. Waiting time was quick, around 15 minutes. Food tasted average however it was very filling
Found a affordable, simple, tasty meal @guosnoodlehouse, Hurstville.
Got the Set Meal 1 - which consisted of chefs special tender beef soup, rice, veges served with sauce and two fried eggs.
Seriously.... the beef soup is so simple and flavoursome and matched very well with a lovely bowl of fluffy rice.
I must admit the plate of choy sum had a light vinegar, soy sauce flavour which was exceptional.

Delicious authentic regional Chinese food, friendly polite staff, good prices! I had the chef special beef soup with beef and tripe, and my partner had the set with pork and mushroom stew, sir fried bok choy in garlic sauce, stewed chicken and rice. Both delicious meals, especially with some of their homemade chilli oil added!
Edit: You have to try their pan fried pork buns, kind of a cross between buns and dumplings, super delicious!
Nice decor & tableware in traditional Chinese setting with a modern touch. Service was excellent, staff was polite & courteous.
I’ve already been there 3 times, every time I go, I have to order their Chef’s special pan fried bun. The bun is soft & fluffy with a crispy bottom. The meat inside is flavoursome & juicy. That dish never fails! 🤩
Other dish I like is the Dry noodle with peanut sauce. The sauce has got a perfect blend of sweet & salt with a hint of sesame. I usually add the chilli oil from the table condiments, it gives the noodles extra flavour. 😋
Just beautiful. Went all the way from Melbourne to try out food of hometown, Fuzhou. It’s amazing. Love it! Top of my list if visit Sydney again❤️ please open one on Melbourne!

I like this place when I saw all chopsticks and cutlery are being sanitized with hot water on the cutlery sections.
Place are clean and you can see through some part kitchen so that one thing will ease your mind about hygiene practice.
Food, yes it was good over all, menu is rather hard to order because it’s all In Chinese, ( maybe they have different menu for non Chinese customer ? )

Excellent customer service. Food came out on a timely manner. Reasonable priced dishes and the food was amazing. The highlight dish was the Chef's special sweet and sour pork with potatos. The pork remain crispy and the sweet and sour flavour was perfect, wasnt too strong. Would definitely recommend this place.
Tasty and large portion dishes. They have a wide variety of traditional dishes. I highly recommend their fried chicken fillet with red vinasse sauce, sweet and sour sour pork and soups.
Most dishes come in a large portion size, great for sharing. They have lunch and combo special as well.
Not a lot of space and seats inside. Large groups would have to wait. Easier for couples and groups of under four.
Average customer service. You order on a tablet.
I found this place during covid lockdown. I've to say this place indeed is not your usual Chinese menu. The foods are all finely made from the ingredients to the cooking. The wonton skin is thin and silky smooth. The soup has natural flavours and I didn't sense it overloaded with MSG. The dumplings are done to the crisp. The noodles are bouncy. The shop is clean and well managed. Unlike your usual stir-fry combinations, I would say this place serves Chinese finest food. Their lunch menu is affordable and tasty too!
Was on the hunt for Fujian food and so happy we came across Guo’s. Tried a bunch of the basics and everything was tasty. The chicken and soup were stand outs. Can’t wait to try more dishes.
