Best: seafood pancake (crispy but not dry) & their tofu salad.
Only downside is its strange location. While it is a short walk from the train station, it is not on the main forest road or a primary commercial area, and was instead next to a bunch of houses. I barely knew it existed.
Perhaps some better advertisement is in order?
Great food, great service!!
This place was closed for some time.
It reopened a week or two ago. Not sure if it is the same owner but the food quality is definitely so much better. The only puzzling menu is the bento set which i thought is japanese style(?)
Fried chicken taste is well balanced (we like that the salt level is just right, not over powering). The plus point is its accompaniment - pickles. Go together so well!
Another of my favourite is the seafood bean curd stew. We ate&drank all of it.
We like our bbq meat plain/not marinated. They didnt disappoint us either. The pork belly and beef is fresh and tasty.
And nothing wraps up the experience better than to have good customer service.
If they keep it up, we will definitely make this our go to korean food/restaurant even though we have to travel the distance.
Definitely the best Korean food is here. They keep serving so many side dishes. We enjoy the food very much and will come back again
I dont normally do reviews, but had to say something when I saw the other reviews of this place. We enjoy Koran BBQ all around Sydney and this is definitely one of the best. The food is fresh and high quality, premises are clean, service is always good. We are fortunate to have BBQ Wagyu Factory in the area. We are never disappointed when we come here. Give it a go and support these guys. They deserve it.
First time trying this resto out and it did not disappoint. I like how it is situated away from the busy street of Forest road. If you want a serene place to eat, this is the place to be.
Staff are friendly and ambiance gives a homey feel. They gave a lot of different banchans (side dish) and kim chi is sweet but tangy (so if you are not a fan of spicy food, this is perfect for you). I also loved the seaweed-jelly-noodle-like banchan.
We ordered marinated pork which is lovely. They served it with romaine lettuce, raw garlic and samjang which are perfect for wraps. Also, the short rib beef soup is a must-try. Seafood fried rice was really good with its special mayo sauce.
Definitely coming back here! ❤️
