Highly recommend a visit if you’re looking for some amazing South East Asian cuisine.
We opted for the $49 per person banquet which consisted of four entrees and three mains plus rice. Generous portion sizes without being over the top.
We loved the flavours of each dish and the kick of chilli and depth of flavour.
Would have been nice to have a dessert included as part of a banquet in the shape of a scoop of lychee gelato or something similar as a palate cleanser however not a big deal as the savoury dishes were standout.
Great seating towards the back for a refined dining experience, and with champagne at $14 a glass, this made for a great dinner.
Highly recommend and would visit again when we come back.
Didn’t have a reservation but the man at the bar sorted a table with in 5 mins. Entree was amazing, followed by the mains. Great staff, with great customer service. Really big portions, couldn’t finish.
You can’t help but fall in love with this dinner restaurant also on Owen Street in Huskisson. Wildginger expertly brings the flavours of Thailand to NSW’s South Coast – love. It also offers some incredibly reasonable banquet menus, starting at $39.50pp – love. And you can BYO wine, with a bottle-o right next door – so much love.

Lovely food & service. We dined here while on holiday and experienced yummy food and very warm and attentive service.
Both of us had the Banquet A and the food was delicious. Loved the entrees and the mains were also very well prepared and seasoned.
The service by all staff was very welcoming and attentive.

We enjoyed banquet a which we found to have good servings and a nice combination of authentic and modern Thai flavours. However for the price of the banquet it would have been nice to have some more interesting entrees (looked like regular deep fried finger food to me) and it would be nice if desserts were included.
Set banquet menu, sensational food, (smoked trout entree & beef cheeks main my stand outs = but all delicious) efficient service. They also catered to our daughter whio needs GF meals. Would have liked to try dessert but couldn't fit it in after the entrees and mains. Nice cocktails too. Our new favourite restaurant in Huskisson.
Did the bar-fly thing as I was on my own. Cocktails to die for, the bar tender was a great guy. And I had the wrapped pork-belly and then the beef cheek green curry. If there is a better word for delicious? I need it. High-end food in a beautiful little enclave.

Just kidding! The team at Wild Ginger are amazing. I took some clients there for dinner and the atmosphere was great, food is well priced, drinks are too. The staff are incredible, especially Sam (please forgive me if I have your name wrong). The food came out in a timely manner, I can highly recommend the perch curry and any of the beattle leaf starters. Thanks for a great night gents!
I’m not one to write reviews but our dining experience at Wild Ginger was so good- I couldn’t resist. We dined on a Tuesday night where there was a set banquet menu and so we received a selection of delicious entrees and mains. The food was very high quality and service was friendly and prompt. Great restaurant- no wonder they’ve been going for over a decade.
This was a truly fabulous place - the service was warm & friendly, the food contemporary & so very tasty & the cocktails divine. The set menu is perfect & is so reasonably priced with generous servings. An absolute gem that we discovered - highly recommended & would definitely visit again.
