2019 #2: Tried the $15 pasta specials for mushroom ragu and beef ragu - both were very tasty, though mushroom ragu changed significantly from last time. It's now incredibly garlicky! The beef ragu was quite tangy and not particularly meaty, just a few crumbs of mince, but still delicious. Large servings, two pastas are enough for 3 moderately hungry people. 5/5 for the pasta specials. 2019: Came back for the Carbonara, it was completely different! Sauce flavour, consistency, amount, and even the noodle itself all tasted really different. This time, the sauce was a lot lighter, not as savoury, and consistency was more similar to mashed potato. Nowhere near as tasty, though there was significantly more of the little salty pork bits. Compare photo 1 (2018) and photo 3 (2019) of the same dish. When asked about it, they said it was still the same recipe and same chef, so I'm not sure what happened. Also tried the octopus salad, it was not bad but not really good either. Potato was quite bland and didn't seem like it was shallow fried - definitely boiled. Octopus a little chewy. Would not particularly recommend. 4/5 - 2018: We tried the Carbonara and the $15 Mushroom Ragout special, both were really tasty! The Carbonara sauce was very eggy and very rich and savoury, super delicious. 5/5

Wonderful little restaurant with amazing food. Great daily specials! Currently running Monday - Wednesday pasta special at unbeatable prices. The wait staff were friendly and attentive. It is BYO so make sure to bring your favorite wine or beer with you.
