Great value for money. T-bone Tuesdays are the best! Nice, thick T-bone steaks served with chips/mash/veg/salad and a nice sauce for $15. Good variety of drinks available, and a covered outdoor area - great for watching the thunderstorms roll in.
$15 Tbone on Tuesdays not bad in this market and great serving size. Beer also comparatively reasonably priced.
Apparently this place just changed owners, but I don't know what it was like before to compare.
Meat was overcooked compared to what we ordered but still juicy and the sauces were tasty.
We ate there the first night we were in Kakadu, as we wanted to eat somewhere other than at our hotel. It was one of the few options open and it was such a good experience, we went back the other two nights we stayed in Kakadu!
The menu was agreeable to most palates with a variety of meals on offer. Each night there was a slight variation, so that over the course of the 3 nights there was Thai, Mexican, Indian, Italian and Australian on offer. The food was fresh, tasty and cooked well by a competent chef. The service was terrific. The house wine was a surprise each night and we enjoyed some good wine at extremely good value.
I'd recommend this to anyone, oldies, youngies, families alike.
Very good! Meals are great and beer is a tell of a lot cheaper and more reasonable than the caravan park! Lovely friendly staff too
