Must book in advance! This little gem is very popular, fantastic flavours and gorgeous hosts. A must visit for any foodie on a trip to the snow.

I'm not sure during which episode of Masterchef I picked up the phrase "delicate cadence of flavour", but it is definitely appropriate to use it now, in this review. Delicious food, polite and gracious service but remember its cash only and BYO (corkage $2.50).

After a tiring day of hiking up Mount Kosciusko over Easter, my boyfriend and I decided to try this place based on good reviews on Zomato. We made a booking for 8.30pm and had our table all ready and waiting when we arrived. The waitress was probably the friendliest waitress I've ever come across. She was attentive and funny, which really makes for a great dining experience. We ordered the dips as entree, and for the mains we had the goat curry and beef? (Can't exactly remember). The servings were generous and full of flavour. The beef(?) was a little tough but the sauce was delicious and we really loved the goat curry. Staff were also really really friendly. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Jindabyne. Thanks for the great dinner on our last night there!

Delicious food!! Authentic and honest Persian restaurant. From the entrees to the desserts, every dish was espectacular and the owners were very kind. We will definitely return to this place!!

Beautiful Food. I have eaten in 100s of restaurants in over 20 countries - and this is firmly in my Top Ten places to eat. We have visited Cafe Darya numerous times over the past 10 years, making trips to Jindabyne just to eat here, as the food is prepared with love and attention. The chef described the preparation of his rice - which was not an explanation but poetry.

Great little find in Jindabyne. We were impressed with the flavours and with the no fuss, friendliness and hospitality of the owners. We ordered the dips to share as an entree and the goat with black cardamon and the chicken with pomegrante as mains. Would recommend all these. The five year old in me loved the traditional fairy floss for dessert! This place is worth a try for something different. Service may be slow but sit back, relax and know that at least your meal is being prepared fresh for you!
