Absolutely fantastic. The battered chicken & chips with tartare sauce was one of the best I’ve ever had. The slice of lemon was really refreshing and helped release the flavours of this fresh pacific bird. Caught only an hour before (pictures included). I think ours must have been the flying bird without any wings because it tasted so special. The only downfall was I wish there was more to go around and share with everyone *chefs kiss*

Great meal at a good price - especially considering you are on an island. I had the sticky ribs - which were GREAT! The coleslaw was a bit dicey, so I left that well alone. Comparable prices to Brisbane pub prices and we got our meals fairly quickly. They could turn the air conditioner down a bit though - it was pretty warm inside and the fans weren't making a difference. Overall very good!

Overpriced, no doubt. But what do you expect from a lone restaurant on the Eastern side of Fraser Island? We got takeaway pizzas. Pretty good pizza to be honest but yeah you pay a premium. Previous reviews about a buffet which no longer exists. Poor customer service - maybe in the past but not our experience tonight. There is no competition so if you don't want to cook then this is your only option. But if you want to buy meat and salad from the local store, the prices there will also make your eyes water!😭
