Have tried this place a few times. It’s a good take-away place. The fish has been always good. The regular-sized fish n chips comes with plenty of chips which I’ve found to be too much for one person. In my opinion, chips were a bit salty. Otherwise, you normally get the kinda service you expect. Recommend it, for sure. Can sit and eat in the park cross the street.

The best fish and chip in Newcastle and beyond. I grew up less than 5 minutes from hilltop but never really new about it until about 4 years ago and it changed my life forever It makes me sad that I don’t live nearby anymore but my mums does and I try and always get it when I’m back visiting. It’s now her go to for fish and chips as well The fish is nice and flaky with perfectly crisp batter. The chips are crunchy on the outside and soft and pillowy inside with plenty of delicious chicken salt Also love their perfectly cooked Chiko roll and a works burger

This is by far the best takeaway in Newcastle. The freshest food cooked fresh daily everything well worth the visit. I have eaten there a lot lately great portion size the staff are flat out and polite

This is easily my favourite fish and chip shop in Newcastle/Lake Mac area. The hand cut chips are cooked to perfection, and their fish cocktails are ever so tasty. The service is quick and usually there is a line out the door on weekends! We love getting a quick bite here.
