In Kalbarri for the first time. One of the best curry we had. (Lamb madras and spinach Paneer) Lovely friendly owners and their little adorable daughter too. It was a bit busy so we had to wait a bit long for our food but was worth the wait, it was excellent! Note: Remember to BYO... we forgot
The Indian food here is authentic and very delicious. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. We requested vegan options, and the chef was courteous and accomodating. The Grace is the place to eat when visiting Kalabarri!
It was a while ago that ate here in mid November, but after reading a few recent positive reviews, we decided to check it out. We were very happy that we did, as the food was terrific - the curries bursting with divine flavours, and the naan bread and rice perfectly cooked. Meals were reasonably priced, and BYO appreciated. good service too. Well worth the effort to drive up here for meal, and of course you can opt for takeaways also.
Best in the West!
Best Indian food we have had in 10yrs. Simmi grinds her own spices and definitely knows her flavours. Generous servings so go with an empty tummy!
If you're craving some ethnic and spicy food after eating bland sandwiches on the road for days or weeks, this is your place. Appears to be a family run operation. The curry gravy tastes like its been made fresh and the meat is tender. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal here. Naan is also a winner.
Like a beacon of hope in the desert, this will satisfy your craving for flavourful food especially if you are of the ethnic variety.
Had a great meal with family, All of us enjoyed! Yes it's next to a BP, but don't let minor detail stop you! Nice alternative to fish and chips, burgers etc. Well priced too!
Had a nice wrap here with a mild lamb curry and salad which consisted of lettuce tomato and cucumber and perhaps green capsicum. Was nice and mild like I asked but tasty enough to be enjoyed. lamb was tender and delicious and the wrap nice and soft and fresh. I was a little miffed when the menu said $8.50 but when ordered it was suddenly $10, perhaps change menus with a pen or when pointing it out to customers mention the price change right away. Was filling and enjoyable, could be tempted to try something else with these new owners. A further lunch deal menu would be a great option, just not enough to choose from at this stage but a nice alternative to the same old thing.
Ordered takeaway. Really delicious! Would have eaten more but couldn’t handle the heat. We ordered 2 medium spice curries. Next time will get 1 mild and 1 medium so I can eat more! - they were really delicious and good quality ingredients. Veg samosas were also very tasty.
We were delighted by the authentic Indian meal we had at Grace of Kalbarri! The food was prepared fresh. In fact, we could hear the sizzling sounds from the kitchen. It tasted like we were eating at a private home rather than from a restaurant. We also liked that you can chose your spice level which makes all the food approachable if you’re not too sure about spicy food. The medium spiced Goan fish dish was outstanding. The food is reasonably priced and they have a BYO policy. Highly recommended this Indian restaurant!
Even if restaurant is empty, go in!! It’s the best Indian food we have ever had. Food is cooked fresh, onion bhaji is to die for, beef dish was so tender and the choice of spice level is fantastic as you can get the level of hot you personally want in your dish.
