A wonderful informative place to visit. I love that the children can play on machinery/vehicles on show. I also love the fact that this place has incorporated activities for children. The children have so much fun collecting stamps, so they can get a certificate and a lollipop at the end of their visit. A smaller version, of machinery was lots of fun for the children to enjoy! I especially love the Memorial Park. It is such a beautiful place to enjoy, and just sit and soak in the scenic park.

Great experience, very enjoyable few hrs spent watching the gold pour, panning for gold and getting up close to the huge mining trucks. If you are disabled/ in a wheelchair I would not recommend as there are paths made of loose gravel. It made it very difficult for us with my elderly dad. Otherwise brilliant. Highly recommend watching the gold pour

Great place to visit. Entry fee was cheap and well worth it. Large place with loads of buildings and information. Even got to pan for gold and gems (found some gems but the gold was elusive) Dogs are not allowed in the premises but next to the carpark, they had 2 well fenced and very comfy dog pounds including a bed. Made it so easy and relaxing for us.

I was sceptical at first but, with easy parking and a competitive entry fee ($15/each), there's many hours of learning, entertainment and relaxation. The last part is at the peace gardens. Plenty of interactive exhibits, lots and lots of reference material with a self guided tour. We went during the week early in the morning and we had the place to ourselves. Well worth a trip when visiting Kalgoorlie. Easy half day can be spent here.

This was a fantastic journey of the history of mining in the area. Also really enjoyed the local stories about characters from the past. The gold smelting demonstration was really interesting, full of facts and very enlightening. Seeing all of the old equipment around the place and how life used to be out here was a fantastic thing. Even my kids enjoyed it, which included two teenagers and that is saying something! Worth the entry fee indeed.

Such an amazing experience!! A must do when visiting kalgoorlie! Panning for Gold at the end of the self guided tour was incredible! Being able to climb up on the trucks was amazing and gives you that feeling of being on a mine. It was incredible and yes you get to keep the gold you find!! For a $15 entry, this was definitely well worth it!!

Great place to check out gold mining from years ago. Good display. Try gold or gem panning. Kids loved it.
