Have eaten here (Currumbine) many times, both as take away and dine in. The food has always been excellent. Beautiful meals always very tasty and really friendly staff. Love it, would definitely recommend the Lasun Chicken and Peshwari Naan!
Best food in High Wycombe. Living in High Wycombe can be depressing as there are no decent food outlets whatsoever (except the tavern for a pub meal), but now that We have this restaurant, we can finally be happy! No more travelling for a decent feed! I can't say enough good words. Lovely clean restaurant with accomodating and kind, friendly staff, prompt service, and quality food well done! We will be back, and back, and back

I went to this restaurant on a whim on a Saturday night. Fancying something a bit different from the usual Japanese, Chinese or fish and chips, I scoured Urbanspoon for something local and came across this restaurant. It is BYO and right next door to a bottleshop which is very convenient. The staff are gentle and welcoming, and the restaurant is modern with a clean, elegant ambience. The menu is unsurprisingly very similar to an Indian menu with the usual favourites like samosas, pakoras, tandoori etc.
Average interior but nice enough for a quick casual meal with friends. We ordered lamb korma along with a tandoori dish, rice and naan bread. I wish we had ordered two curries because the lamb korma was amazing. The tandoori dish was unfortunately really salty and quite dry but we could luckily use the korma sauce to mask the saltiness. Overall really good meal!
The high score is for the delicious food and extremely friendly service. We ordered chicken momos, veg kormas and chicken rogan josh, all were amazing. The girl who waited our table was very attentive, always with a smile on her face.
The only thing to watch out for, is that we saw the restaurant owner/manager taking the tip we gave to the waitress and put it to the till. He did deduct the amount from our bill, but I personally believe it was very obvious that was the tip for the waitress. So we went to pay again the difference so the waitress can get the tip she deserves. Just be sure if you want to tip, that you give to them personally.
Nevertheless, we enjoyed the food so much we will surely be back! :)
This was the first time eating in and the food was exceptional. Lamb madras and the Gurkhas special goat curry were delicious! Highly recommend
Great food, friendly service but 2 people on the floor is not enough. I thought it was a one off but I have been told that is your normal staffing level. We had a table of 13 and the wait was too long. If I was at a table of 2 or 4 it would have been unbearable and we would have left. I'll be back when this aspect improves.
Great neighborhood gem. Friendly service, complimentary pappadams on arrival. We ordered chicken momos, chicken lasun (mild chicken coconut curry), veg korma, rice, garlic naan, cheese naan, rice and sweet lassis.
I really liked the momos and would definitely come back for those! The veg korma was way too sweet and I wouldn't order again. First time I've had cheese naan and it was AMAZING.
25% off with the entertainment book too!
This local restaurant served delicious food, its cheap and cheerful, BYO. The chicken madras and goat curry were my favourite as the chicken lollipops.
My dad and I ventured here one night spontaneously and were pleasantly suprised. Complimentary pappadums on arrival, the curries were beautiful, fast service and lovely attentive staff. We will definitely be back.
The only negative was that the restaurant was hidden away next to a shop in the dark. It felt a bit dodgy until you venture inside the restaurant.
Butter chicken all the way. Hands down the best I've had north of the river. Smokey and sweet with a good hit of spice available on request. It is the perfect takeaway curry. Pilau rice and garlic naans also deserve praise.

Nice environment, staff were friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Byo option $2.50 per head. Complimentary papadums and tap water on arrival. Ordered across the menu, enjoyed Nepalese prawns, chicken vindaloo a little tame in heat and depth considering my husband requested "I like it Hot" . Saag paneer was a little bland and cream based.
Would perhaps try different dishes take away.
Pleasant outing. Family of 4 $105
I've had a couple of fantastic meals here. Last time with my wife we had the Momo chicken dumplings, Gurkhas Special Chicken Curry, Chicken Briyani and some Garlic Naan bread. All of these dishes were delicious. Both the Briyani and Curry had loads of delicious flavour with a decent hit of spicyness, without being overpowering. Will definitely be back.
Good food. No kids menu and no real desire shown to be flexible for them. Poor choice of drinks when we went with no beer available despite being opposite a bottle shop....food was good, but given we were the only people there, very slow.
Awesome dishes as usual love the chicken tikka masala and and all the starters are great- been coming for the last ten years and still as good as ever.
Food beautiful, staff super friendly, clean cosy and love the table cloths. Very authentic, I've been to Nepal. Momos are the BEST.
