Delightful place! We happened upon this cafe as we were driving back to Melbourne from a week away. My partner needed his coffee fix and I was craving a hot chocolate (and a toilet break 😝) and we saw the Dark Horse on the road and pulled in. Heaps of easy to manoeuvre parking, toilets were clean and accessible and the service was beyond amazing. There was one particular lady (I don't remember her name, my apologies) who went above and beyond. Have never felt more welcome! 😊 A picturesque and wonderfully warm and friendly little place to either grab a quick coffee or sit and enjoy a long lunch overlooking a pretty little lake. Cannot recommend highly enough!👌

Great location, Smashed avo and Fries was amazing. Vegetarian Burger 🍔 was yum 🤤 never had that good vegetarian Burger ever.Excellent service, Super friendly staff, great coffee & Vegan Brownie 😋. Thank you girls for making my unplanned & first visit marvellous.
