Delicious food and beautiful presentation. The staff are extremely welcoming, friendly, and helpful, and go above and beyond to create the freshest and tastiest sushi platters with amazing variety. I have been purchasing the sushi platters for corporate meetings/events and they have been a huge hit by all. Fantastic value too. I will definitely continue to come here, very happy customer.
The best Japanese restaurant I've eaten at in many a year. The food is superb, everything is made on the premises, service is fast, efficient and knowledgeable and the owner always seems to be on-site. Prices are very reasonable and if you want things that aren't strictly on the menu, they'll make it for you if they can. While your there, try the Japanese soft drinks too, I'll never understand why they're not at every corner store.

Beautiful dinner service! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. We ordered a chicken katsu don, karage chicken udon noodle soup and salmon avocado sushi roll. All were made fresh and to order! We only had to wait for a short period to receive the fresh meals. The owner even came out and had a chat with us about Japan and South Korea and her heritage which was refreshing and we felt like we were in Japan during dinner rather than Kareela! We have came to dine here for years and we can not fault it! Amazing food, value and service every time. Best Japanese food in South Sydney! 😊
I've tried a lot of Japanese and Shikoku is by far the best I've had. Everything is fresh and cooked to a high standard. Celine and the team there go out of their way to look after you. Truly a great dining experience all round - superb food and service!
Outstanding customer service and awesome sushi! I called to ask if they can make sushi platter for me to pick up at 9.30am for a picnic. Although their opening hours is 10am, they went above and beyond to help. James (Sorry if I got the name wrong) makes very tasty sushi and great customer service! Highly recommend!
Eat here every week and it's never been less than perfect. Staff are the friendliest people you'll ever meet and make some top tier sushi to boot. Japanese food doesn't get any better than Shikoku and I'd recommend it to everyone!
