First time experience since the expansion, as I have been away for more than 10 years overseas, I couldn't recognize any part of the original center that I knew before, especially the car park where there was Sunday market every Sunday.
The whole center was beautifully redesigned, and the outdoor areas were meticulously landscaped with greeneries soothing to the eye.
I really enjoyed the visit with my family for the shopping experience together with lots of people crowding the place.
This mall is hugeeeeeeee! So many shops, and restaurants. What i love about this place is lots of parking spots and all the stores are so beautiful and spacious! The food court has an amazing view and a variety if food to choose from. Been here so many times and still not bored of it haha. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 best mall in Perth!
Karrinyup is a nice shopping centre but not quite 5 stars, more like 4.5 stars.
There is a lot of shops but due to it being very long it takes some time getting from one end to the other, parking is great and free so thats nice.
There is a good selection of food outlets with amazing views over Perth, could really do with more seating but.
Toilets where nice and clean.
Oh and there's a LEGO store there so thats awesome.
Good range of shops and activities for families such as the newly built outdoor playground. It even lights up at night time so it's nice for the kids to have a play after a busy day of shopping and can head out for dinner. So many good options to eat for dinner and dessert. We had fun at Archie Brothers for some arcade games after dinner. It's adults only after 8pm so we will be back for cocktails another time without the kids.
19/11/2021. This place is huge. I have been going to this shopping centre since it first opened. There are so many shops now I still haven't found them all. I walked around for an hour the other day and still have no idea where the cinemas are. The food hall is really good and has an excellent view of Perth and Lake Gwelup. There are lots of other really good food kiosks and shops dotted around the shopping centre, it is just a matter of finding them. Just make sure you remember where you parked your car!
Wow what a fantastic upgrade and renovation for Karrinyup Shopping Centre. This is now one of the best shopping centres in WA.
The new fresh marketplace is great and full of all the fresh produce you need. All of your favourite shops available.
The city view from the food court balcony is incredible. The other outside eatery area looks so modern.
I like that Woolworths, Aldi and Coles are all close to each other. Made shopping really easy. Tip is to remember the colour coded carpark so you can locate your car easily.
A huge diverse selection of stores - from Big W to Camilla to Sass & Bide. DJ & Myers are huge! It really is a one-stop-shopping experience. The food court has so much to choose from, and there’s a number of chain cafes and restaurants also. I went there today (28th of December) at lunch time and it was absolutely packed - it took a couple of turns around the parking lot to find parking but to be honest, the parking lot is HUGE! Despite the huge crowds, it didn’t feel overwhelmingly crowded. The only negative about my visit: the mobile phone coverage absolutely sucks ! And the free wifi isn’t much better unfortunately.

It was not my best day to experience a newly built and extended shopping centre. Quoted from their website "FIND THE BEST PARK FOR YOUR VISIT WITH OVER 4,800+ CAR BAYS AVAILABLE". Took me 25 mins to find a space with cars everywhere. I've never in a long time experienced so much frustration to get a parking space. 4800 + car bays? With what felt like 6000 cars driving around looking for a free space.
My main attraction was to visit the cinema, but with more frustration with staff saying it's on the second floor. I eventually found out Its in a completely different building on the second floor!!! (at the other side of the shopping centre).
Good thing I knew how to use Google maps to point me in the right direction.
I think more could if been done to point members of the public in the right direction, but I do like the waiting areas at each section of the parking areas.
Note: Take a photo of where your parked as the parking bays are marked in alphabet.
Mark your location with a car find app with your smartphone, trust me it will save you so much hassle when walking back to your car.
