The place itself is visually stunning as you enter the old building and see the interior too however the spacing between the tables can be slightly narrow and servers are sometimes in each other’s way. The food here was great with special mention to the wagyu steak and the scallop entree but ultimately isn’t really worth the price for what you receive. The quality doesn’t quite make up for the lack of quantity. The servers were great with explaining the dishes however we did get someone who was new and she did make mistakes with our drink but the Asian waitress was quick to support her. The music played was quite interesting as they played acoustic versions of modern songs which makes for quite a good atmospheric feeling. However there was a waitress who was quite boisterous and kinda killed the vibe. The place was very nice and we’re glad we tried it at least.
Even though we were seated inside with no view of the garden, we appreciated the beautiful atmosphere in the restaurant. Food is superb - beautifully presented and every course was enjoyable. We had a super "perfunctory" waitress but we could see that other waiting staff were friendly and attentive. All in all would be very happy to go back.
Lovely restaurant with very interesting food! A beautiful atmosphere and space. Very warm and cosy! We enjoyed the selection but felt the extras (sides) should be included in the price. We also would have enjoyed having the option for a warm dessert, being a cold mountain evening. Lovely celebration for my Mum’s 80th, thank you for the candle and singing! The service was second to none, particularly Rachael who was lovely, bubbly, attentive and so entertaining!
