Explored the Kenmore Village last Thursday and drove past this plaza. I decided to go in for exploration when I am around the area next time.
Arranged to keep my promise this morning. The first thing that attraction my attention was the early trading of this cafe so gave it a go.
Wait-staff are all very friendly and I took a seat at the dining area and it is limited to 10 patrons. Perused the menu and decided to go for my signature combination of poached eggs and smoked salmon with grilled tomatoes.
It did not take a long time to have both the food and beverage ready on my table. Coffee presented with a very nice latte art and strength was good. Savoury dish definitely tailored to my expectation. Nice presentation with good portions of smoked salmon. Slightly overdone poached eggs lacked the sexy movement; however extra mark was allocated for the service and coffee art.

Phuong Tran and I visit this local favourite for lunch. The friendly staff have us seated and provide us with cold water and menus. Our meals are served in 20 minutes.
*Spaghetti Bolognaise ($19.95) looks appetising and the Bolognaise sauce is rich and tasty. This
serving size is small and I would suggest it be increased by 30%.
*Chilli Prawn Fettuccine ($21.95) is beautifully presented and is a large serving garnished with 7 large fresh sautéed Prawns, Pecorini Cheese and Prosciutto. The pasta is al dente, tossed through Olive Oil, Garlic and Chilli. This pasta dish is fantastic value. Bellissimo!
We love the food and service here. Highly recommended!
We stopped in for the big breakfast a few days ago and it definitely ranks among Brisbane's best!
The sausage was well flavoured (and not greasy), the bacon was cooked well, the rosti potato was perfectly crispy (again, not greasy), and the chutney was a perfect 10/10 that exceeded all expectations. My only knock is the mandatory poached eggs were... poached eggs. I'm not a big poached egg guy, but luckily the rest of the plate had enough on it that skipping the eggs wasn't an issue. My long black was towards the bitter side, but was still enjoyable.
I look forward to coming back!
Beautiful friendly owners in this beautifully presented cafe/restaurant. Lots of lovely menu options. Fully licensed. Plenty of parking. Family owned.
Firstly, the service is excellent which is a change seeing in most cafe's in Brisbane is fairly bad. The coffee is great, I get soy milk which is hard to make a good coffee from and the barista always does a good job. Would definitely go back!
Food is great here but my recent visit was a disappointment. My girlfriends breakfast was served on my plate, even though she ordered to the same waitress. Think the staff are just really young & need training. Previous visits the food was RRALLY good ... Just lacks a little atmosphere sitting in a shopping centre carpark.
Been here for lunch a few times. Always good service & food is good, not great. Prices a bit steep, but don't mind as it's consistently good.
Amazing customer service, especially from the Asian guy with the great sense of humor ;)
Atmosphere I'd really nice also.
Coffee is above average.
Plumb breaky was amazing!
Don't really have any improvements to suggest. It was great.
I had the big breakfast today and must say a massive compliment to the Chef, sausage was so yum, Mushrooms were divine, Potato Rosti was the best substitute Hash Brown I've ever had in a big breakfast anywhere in Australia (someone tell me that recipe please), I'm still deciding but the Hollandaise sauce could also rank as the best I've ever eaten anywhere ever!!!!!
Downside was the service, my coffee came out as a Flat White instead of a Latte, it took a long time for my breakfast to be served, all in all, Well Done Lance!!!! I'll come back again for sure, Cheers.
Raymond. Coffee was very passable nice & full bodied
Visited for Lunch today. Meals here are always prepared to order using quality fresh ingredients. Service is always friendly and attentive. Highly recommended!
Amazing brekkie! Definitely recommending the Pancakes! So fluffy! Perfect place to start the day right!
One of the first local shops I tried after I become a Kenmore resident. The venue has always been kept clean, and consistently served good food by friendly staffs. Very sad to see it go…
First time customer for lunch, excellent service received from the young girls working there. The Thai beef salad was delicious. Coffee and cake after, also good. Will definitely be returning. Spacious, clean and friendly cafe.
Quick lunch in unbusy, quiet café with effective internet and simple inexpensive menu choices. Slightly bitter espresso softened with a few grains of table salt. Also thankful of tap water bottles and given freely on the ask. I ate the battered fish with chips and peas. Tasted good and light. Thanks, Plum
Beautiful store front with an upscale feel. The good opening hours and delicious coffee that is actually served above the standard 60 degrees all add to a great dining experience. The staff can be a little edgy otherwise fantastic overall.
