Explored the Kenmore Village last Thursday and drove past this plaza. I decided to go in for exploration when I am around the area next time.
Arranged to keep my promise this morning. The first thing that attraction my attention was the early trading of this cafe so gave it a go.
Wait-staff are all very friendly and I took a seat at the dining area and it is limited to 10 patrons. Perused the menu and decided to go for my signature combination of poached eggs and smoked salmon with grilled tomatoes.
It did not take a long time to have both the food and beverage ready on my table. Coffee presented with a very nice latte art and strength was good. Savoury dish definitely tailored to my expectation. Nice presentation with good portions of smoked salmon. Slightly overdone poached eggs lacked the sexy movement; however extra mark was allocated for the service and coffee art.

Phuong Tran and I visit this local favourite for lunch. The friendly staff have us seated and provide us with cold water and menus. Our meals are served in 20 minutes.
*Spaghetti Bolognaise ($19.95) looks appetising and the Bolognaise sauce is rich and tasty. This
serving size is small and I would suggest it be increased by 30%.
*Chilli Prawn Fettuccine ($21.95) is beautifully presented and is a large serving garnished with 7 large fresh sautéed Prawns, Pecorini Cheese and Prosciutto. The pasta is al dente, tossed through Olive Oil, Garlic and Chilli. This pasta dish is fantastic value. Bellissimo!
We love the food and service here. Highly recommended!
We stopped in for the big breakfast a few days ago and it definitely ranks among Brisbane's best!
The sausage was well flavoured (and not greasy), the bacon was cooked well, the rosti potato was perfectly crispy (again, not greasy), and the chutney was a perfect 10/10 that exceeded all expectations. My only knock is the mandatory poached eggs were... poached eggs. I'm not a big poached egg guy, but luckily the rest of the plate had enough on it that skipping the eggs wasn't an issue. My long black was towards the bitter side, but was still enjoyable.
I look forward to coming back!
