Finally got a chance to try this Portuguese chicken burger. Owner recommended their Ole chicken burger. Asked for medium level heat and got exactly that. Chicken was tender and juicy, burger bun was perfect, so were the condiments not overloaded with mayo and other fattening sauces. Confidently finished the meal without that guilty feeling I normally had with KFC or other fast food. Strongly recommend. Service was quick and friendly. Strongly recommend.
Ole has dropped off a bit in the last year or two, but the key trick I still use is to ask for extra chilli in the burger, and get a combined chilli-prego sauce on the side for the chips. The chilli used to be really strong, but they've softened it up a little bit. Their prego is also a bit hit and miss now, with the mix being a bit off balance at times. Otherwise the burgers are mostly the same..
Ole is the sole reason I decided to stay living in Kensington and commute to work 2 hours per day. It's burgers are tender and juicy with the perfect balance of crunch and succulent chicken. On late nights home on the train the thought of ole sustains me.
Best burger in Sydney!. Came here for lunch today and was amazed at how good the food was. I had the prego burger along with chips, which were both delicious. This was one of the best burgers I have ever had in Sydney. The service was equally good, if not better. Istrongly recommend this place to everyone.
Back to ole again today, burgers still good, the chips really really need to try, it's crunchy and fresh, by the way, the sauces are great with chips on the side.
Friendly staffs with great service. My friends and I has been eating in ole for 7 years already, we have to say, ole is the best taste in eastern suburb! Amazing place!

I had their avocado with big hot ole burger meal! Which was an excellent choice because they actually served me with fresh pieces of avocado in the burger not like some burger places only gives you some avocado spread! I also added chilli and prego sauce into the burger and on the chips! It was simply delicious! Be back soon!
This is the prefect place if you are in the mood for chicken whatever (burgers, rolls, wraps, sandwiches, you name it) and not spending much money. The price to quantity to taste ratio is pretty good. Around $6 for a burger and $10 for a combo with fries and a can. More than enough for one person. Me and my wife go here frequently and usually order one combo and one single burger and end up paying not even $20 and finish quite full :D :D :D The only downside I find about this place is that in occasions the fried chicken could get a bit too greasy. This is expected from any fried chicken place. I do recommend to try the Olé Burger with the delicious prego sauce.
If I had the choice to eat one thing for the rest of my life a Hot Olé Meal would be one of my first choices, the burger is so fresh, they cut the chillies in-house for the chilli sauce, you can order the chips extra cooked for more crunch, and DEFINATELY ask for Prego and Chilli sauce for your chips. I’m always greeted by Vincent and he’s so happy and nice, always takes care of what you’re looking for.
Awesome burgers. Occasionally you'll get a free top up of chips when you eat in. Great customer service! Prego sauce with the chips is a must.
Pretty nice Portuguese chicken burger and chippies. It really hit the spot when I was famished after a long day at work, but was definitely not on the same level as the O’le at Rosebery. Is it a franchise? Is it meant to be the same? I’m not quite sure, but I would give it another go if I’m in the area.
Have been going there since I went to uni in UNSW about a decade ago. Went back last month and happy to report that the burgers and chips are still just as awesome as before! Hope you guys stick around for more decades to come.
Love this place. A regular for a quick take-away meal. Tasty burgers. It's been said, but worth reiterating: the prego sauce for your chips is a must.
Love the food, great burger and chicken strips! Try it with Prego and fresh chilli sauce! They have a good range of sauces. When I'm in the area, always go there for a meal!
