Three of us went for sat lunch. took awhile to come out but well worth it! The staff came around a couple of the tables to apologise for the wait, said it was busy in the kitchen. Ordered the special, 2 small fritters, pulled spicy pork and ample of it and poached egg, beautifully presented. Others had the chicken snitzel, salad and fries, perfectly cooked. Saw other dishes come out and looked beautifully presented as well. Caramel milkshake was not very large. Coffee tasted good, it was not to hot but I like it like that. Cafe clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Was served water as soon as we sat down. Kept checking on us if we needed anything. Definitely go back to try some of the other dishes.
A surprisingly spacious cafe with tasty food. Came here for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the Remy good life bowl. Lots of interesting flavours and lots of vegetables to enjoy. The egg made the dish more filling.
Shared a berry smoothie which was nice but expensive.

Finally checked out this cute and cosy cafe in the popular street of Kew. I had seen their beautifully presented hotcakes on Instagram and knew I had to try them instantly! They are blueberry and banana flavoured topped with whipped ricotta, more blueberries and dried banana crips which was a great crunch. They were super fluffy and left you satisfied after finishing the meal. I accompanied my hotcakes with a peanut butter smoothie as a change from coffee. This was a great choice as the peanut butter wasn’t heavy and didn’t make the smoothie overly thick so it was easy to drink.
I’m super keen to revisit this cafe to try some of their other dishes especially the savoury options!
Generally pretty impressive. Lovely hipster feel and the very pleasant staff have the right vibe. Nice people who had some good interstaff banter going at the counter. Fine lookin’ menu here. I could have chosen about six things easily. Slight delay with my takeaway order but the coffee was super when it arrived. Best one I’ve had for a while. I couldn’t fault it for taste and temperature. I like it here.
All you want from a cafe experience. Delicious food, really well done coffee and service from a gang that remember you and treat service as more than asking for your order.
Our favourite local in Kew East. Staff are always warm and friendly and even remember our order!! Set in an old house with a cute little courtyard which we loved during the warmer months, and is also dog friendly.
Coffee is top notch, and every brunch item on the menu we’ve tried has been excellent. My partner can’t go past the Remy - a bit of everything. The mushrooms are also cooked perfectly and the Rosti has made it his cafe of choice. I’ve tried the smashed avo (love the touch of the corn purée for something sweet), the almond, apple and strawberry oats were a lovely surprise for a winter warmer and the chilli scrambled is a flavour bomb using a touch of Asian flavours. Highly recommend.

It was brunch time so my partner and I headed off to Kew to try this cafe.
The service from all the staff was exceptional, really professional and attentive.
I had a strong skinny latte which was very good and then we both ordered a strong skinny almond latte. And we both agreed that this was the best almond latte that either of us have tried.
Foodwise I ordered the Remy Brekky which consisted of a great potato rosti, tomato, a poached egg, mushroom, grilled halloumi, bacon and a slice of toast. This was really good, and filling!
We also shared a potato rosti, w 2 poached eggs, salmon, dill, creme fraiche, avocado and capers. This was also really good. The eggs were poached perfectly, the salmon was great and that was a great dish.
My only recommendation is that there is some more seasoning as we had to add a lot. Maybe that’s personal?
Overall this was a solid experience and definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
the food took a while to come, but when it did it was great. The wellness bowl was amazing and so was the omelette. We ordered the pasta without chilli but even without it, the sauce was still extremely spicy, so tip if you can’t take spice don’t order the pasta! The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were all really friendly :)
Remy is the new version of a previous cafe at the same location and continues - has improved upon - having the friendliest team of enthusiastic management & staff, providing excellent coffees & sweet treats. Our workplace has been doing our morning coffee run here regularly for years & highly recommends visiting for picking up a coffee or staying for a meal.
Nice new cafe with a good menu and friendly staff. The fitout is light and airy and their courtyard is currently under renovation.
BLAT (replaced rocket with cos lettuce) was nice and very generous size. The bacon was really crispy which was great. Chorizo omelette was a little bland but chorizo itself was fantastic. Penne amatriciana was nice but could have done with an extra kick.
