Tucked off the main road, not far from Belmont forum, the Filipino venue does traditional food really well. The chicken skewers were loaded with flavour, the crispy pata is incredible value at $18 for a huge serve and when we got the seal of approval from my Filipino mother in law, that took the cake! We finished off with halo-halo and apart from a few large chunks of ice, it’s was a pretty good version. If you’re looking for traditional Filipino food at great prices, check Padilla out.
Always wanted to try Filipino food. Parilla didn't disappoint. I absolutely fell in love with the ribs, it was amazing. Would definitely come back just for the ribs! The marinade was lovely and the meat just fell off the bone 😊
Parilla is a funky filipino place in an obscure place off Orrong road, but it is worth discovering. The grilled seafood platter is great value at $35 but if you follow on Facebook, you will see they have regular days and deals.
We felt guilty taking advantage of the $10 Thrifty Thursday deal of chicken inasal with rice and a softdrink: delicious and great value! We will be back for some of their other fare!
