Very nice little local cafe! Cozy welcoming decor with friendly vibes... You can easily sit there for hours if you have the time... Excellent coffee and scrumptious selection of foods! Will definitely be back đź‘Ť
Lazy brunch on labour day. Food tasty, service great, relaxing atmosphere. Excellent coffee..... would recommend and will be back...........
Been here a few times now. The coffee and food are really good. Also the staff are really lovely and make the experience even better. I would recommend this place if you want a coffee and some picky food
Great atmosphere, exceptional service, friendly staff and most of all great coffee!
I am yet to work through the food menu, the antipasto menu looked quite appetising and they had a selection of fresh juices and pastries to choose from! I tried the salmon salad which was great! I’m keen to come up for breakfast! Will recommend Essenza to anyone who loves a good coffee and bite to eat!
I noticed a plan to serve liquor on the front window which would be great as Kilsyth lacks anything with a bit of class.
Thought I would give this fairly new local cafe a try and I wasn’t disappointed. Went in for breakfast and started with a long black in a mug which was very good. I had their signature breakfast dish, Uova in Padella, was a very nice take on baked eggs in a very impressive sauce with 2 pieces of delicious bread. I sat outside on the footpath and only went inside to pay, indoor decor was nice, but it was warm in there. Sitting outside was good as the shops are in their own service road away from the main road, so noise and fumes are not a problem. Their menu had a good variety, but not too large. Definitely worth a try.
My go to place for delicious fresh muffins and I adore how they are cooked and served in the terracotta pots
The owner and staff are always extremely friendly and efficient without being overbearing
I think this is the most divine spot at the foot of the Dandenongs
Worth a stop before winding your way up the mountain
Thanks Essenza for serving decent food & coffee. Finally someone who knows what they are doing. One of my pet hates are people who think they can just open a cafe, whack some food on a plate, make some noise on the coffee machine, pour some milk from a great height & actually expect you to eat & drink it & be happy when in actual fact it's absolute crap.
We finally managed to get out of bed early enough on a Sunday morning to justify going out for 'breakfast'. It's so nice to know that we have a local cafe that serve great food & great coffee. My wife had a chai tea & a spiced pumpkin muffin which she is still talking about & I had a coffee & the baked eggs, which were also amazing. We will definitely be back as there are other things on the menu that we both want to try.
Essenza is a new and very stylish upmarket Italian cafe, outclassing nearby cafes around Kilsyth. The decor is modern and elegant, with a polished concrete floor, black colour scheme, and tasteful timber tables settings with plain black chairs. The counter is lined with black tiles, there is suspended lighting, and the walls are decorated with large mirrors. Some produce is displayed on timber wall units. Â A few tables sit on the pavement out front for alfresco dining. The menu is quite exotic, Italian of course, with much of the pastry and bread baked on the premises. l selected the fagioli - white beans, tomato sugo and feta. The tomato was very rich, and the meal was very nice and attractively presented. The coffee was also very good. I found the service welcoming and professional, and I was promptly shown to a table and offered a menu and water. Some Italian MOR/pop played softly in the background, enhancing the ambience.
A lovely family run cafe, where they know your 'regular
The service was fantastic and the food was yummo.
We had 3 young kids that couldn't sit still and the staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much for them
Food can't be beat. So full of flavour! My absolute favourite <3
Coffee is ok, nothing good nothing bad.
Staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming, the food is beautifully presented and fresh, the make pastries made fresh every morning, the fit out and decor of the cafe creates a contemporary vibe, and most of all the coffee is on point every time! Thanks guys!!!!! Highly recommend!
Dolcetti - went there to grab a late lunch on our way to a wedding at Lindley. Service was so warm and welcoming and food was great, so I thought I'd write this review. I recommend to anyone who is enjoys good old fashioned friendly service.
