Very nice food, wait time is about 15 minute. They don’t have a huge selection of food on menu but those on the menu are delicious. Highly recommend their sweet potato & pumpkin soup, very creamy and tasty. The main course is also very well presented and taste good.

Location and dining was great. They had a few vegetarian options to choose from which was amazing! Their vegetarian quesadilla was great! Their latte was really good so I purchased their coffee beans at the end. They also had fresh juice which was amazing!

We ordered: - Special dish: Poached egg with smashed avocado. 🙂 Fresh. If having egg sauce on top, it would be better. I do not think that mayo is good combination with the dish. - Egg custard: 😊 recommend. Delicious. - Brownie: it is not my fav. I think it is quite dry 🙃 - Special juice: combination of orange, pine apple and mango. 🙂 Fresh and easy to drink. The favour of orange is stronger than others. We booked in advance (still have tables for passing visitors).

Stopped in for a coffee and couldn’t resist grabbing a bite to eat as the menu sounded so good. Was not disappointed at all, the quesadilla was one of the best meals I had on KI full stop! Beautiful flavours and generous portions. Oh and the coffee was beautiful too!

Cactus Cafe is a gorgeous little gem in Kingscote. The coffee is great and the food is amazing. In our group we had the corn fritters, fig and almond toast and the Granola with fruit and honey. All were scrumptious. The Granola was the best that I had tasted apart from my own home made! We had breakfast and will go back again tomorrow.

My favourite place for breakfast or lunch. Food always tastes as great as it looks. Reasonable prices and fantastic daily specials. Service is consistently fast and efficient with super friendly and welcoming staff. I highly recommend Cactus if ever you're on Kangaroo Island 🌵

Fast friendly service. Limited menu, but the selection is good. Prices are reasonable and the place is presented nicely. Bonus: Outdoor dining is sheltered

Arrived at the Cactus close to closing time. We weren't turned away which was a relief. My partner and I had the Bao Buns which were divine. The coffee and chai latte get a thumbs up also. Great service. Thank you. Recommend and we will return. 👍
