It was a late dinner but the staff happily greeted us at the door. Pasta was cooked perfact ardente. Loved the sauce, dessert and everything. The only let down was the garlic bread. Thought it was beautifully flavoured I was expecting it to be slightly more in serving size... Or simply I am a big eater. Other than that we enjoyed every bit of our dish.

Love this family-run restaurant. Always the most excellent food and service. Our go-to place when in Sydney. My favourite is the prawn avocado salad and the garlic prawns are to die for!

Very pleasant. Solid Italian menu and some good standard fare. Best part is the service. Very friendly and willing to please. Great for dinner before the theatre.

Pleasant. Been here 3 times over the last 4 years maybe. Simple food, salads are very good and varied. Service is with a smile, as in the name " village" and that's how you feel.

Visiting sydney after a walk on the harbour bridge you walk down this nice small street and find this cafe, great service some of the best dishes and really simple, must try :)
